The Novotel was just outside the door to the airport. You are allowed to bring the luggage cart from the airport to the hotel and up to your room. How easy is that!?! The hallways were attractive and the rooms were modern and clean. The stay certainly served its purpose and I did not find the room rate to be out of line.

Super quiet - bit pricey for a lovely but somewhat quite basic room - and apparently we were upgraded to executive 🙄

Very quiet location - great sound proofing. Handy to airpor! Room service food delivered by robot was a great novelty - extra charge for this only $5 . Disappointed cafe was closed early morning and closest eating place was airport. A little disappointed given the price - have had better “extras” (there was no plates/utensils/opening window/outdoor area/bath/shower caps/minibar) at more affordable places.

Even the manager ignored my emails

I wanted to stay at this hotel so that my 3-year-old and I could recover from an 18-hour flight. I emailed the hotel three times over a number of weeks, but they ignored every one. I even addressed one to the manager, but again they ignored me. I don’t understand and can only assume that they would prefer my family not to stay.

Good place to stay for early morning flights

Fast check in, convenient location to the airport for an early morning flight. The hotel had very quiet rooms and was clean, comfortable and modern. The was a good amount of hot water pressure and both toilet and bathroom were clean. Check in and out staff where friendly and helpful.

Great choice for layover

Our family of 5 stayed in 2 Superior Rooms for 1 night as lay-over. Even though the hotel is not connected to the airport, it was the nearest and an easy walk for our 80-year old family member. We did not try the hotel's restaurants, but instead visited International Antarctic Centre, McDonald's and Woolworths which were less than 1 km away. The spacious rooms were surprisingly well-appointed, too nice not to stay longer. We had a good rest before a long-haul flight.
