Our suite was large with lots of nice touches. The view was great and the guest lounge was well stocked. The Chinese restaurant was good however the main restaurant was charging $50US per head for the buffet which we felt was too expensive. The staff were excellent. I would stay here again.

In 421 double room ,my friend and I have stayed for 5days. I would like to suggest you to place separately two beds as well as two cupboards. If you place two together ,it means for one and the rest one is not OK . During this time I can't use one cupboard because two are really close and I don't want to mess my things to my friend's. All are OK.

Our 5-night stay at the Mercure Mandalay Hill contributed to the great experience we had in Mandalay. We can only praise the staff for the kindness and attentiveness during our stay. Although some refreshing of the rooms is to recommend in order to improve the guest experience, the facilities are fine in overall terms. We stayed at a corner view room which allowed access to the lounge. I am glad that we booked that type of room, ample and with great views, but I would expect a more updated room (especially the bathroom, a bit outdated). The only downside if you stay on the pool side is the noise, windows are not sound proof and we heard all night the loudspeakers from the neighboring temples and barking dogs. The swimming pool and gym facilities are awesome. So is the breakfast, plenty of options of all sorts - the only irritating aspect being the music, I would much prefer having local music instead of Baroque music every single day in an absolute lack of syntony with the Myanmar culture. It’s certainly a matter of taste, but some consideration for the local music would be nice. Same comment apply to the lounge where we had to endure Frank Sinatra every time...a real pain. But the staff made all the difference, our special thank you to everyone for making this a memorable stay.

The hotels has seen better days. Rooms are outdated. Our room was smelly and very gold. I didn't like that there was a smokers place in our floor. The whole floor smelled like ashtray. Personnel did their best. They are extremely polite and nice but hotel was lacking Accors standards by far
