Mercure Langkawi Pantai Cenang 4 نجوم

We have just enjoyed a lovely two week stay at the Mercure Langkawi and we have no hesitation in publicising how very happy we were with everything we experienced throughout our stay. Top of or list is the most attentive service from every member of the hotel team and every one of them is commended for the excellent service they provided, always with a smile. The standard and variety of the hotel's in-house menu was most impressive. we thoroughly enjoyed the poolside BBQ evenings where you select your own fresh meat / fish which the chef will then bbq for you. We also recommend the option to enjoy a tasting menu with (optional) wine pairing which was excellent. The freshwater pool area is a fabulous place to relax and , although there are a limited number of sun beds, we never waited longer than 30/40 minutes before two became free. The plus side to this is that the beds are carefully and spaciously arranged on raised decking areas around the pool, which means that guests can enjoy their own space to relax and sunbathe on the deepest most comfortable cushions you could ask for. Fresh pool towels are available every day, and the poolside W.C's for guests are absolutely immaculately clean at all times. Our Superior Double Room with a pool view and balcony was very spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. The bathroom provided a huge fully tiled walk in shower with excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. The super king size bed bed was very very comfortable. And last but not least, the location was just right; set back from the main shopping street it was a 5 minute walk from the hotel to the shops and restaurants, and the main beach. Could not have asked for more.

We had an incredibly enjoyable 4 night stay over New Year at the Mercure in Langkawi. The staff here are out of this world. So warm, so friendly and so willing to help you at all times. The rooms were spacious and modern and the air conditioning worked perfectly . The lobby, common areas and pool were always spotlessly clean. I do have a few suggestions for improvements :- - There needs to be more pool chairs because almost every time we went to the pool the chairs were already occupied and there was nowhere to sit - The buffets for both breakfast and dinner had lots of variety, but there were several cooked items and meats that were not kept hot and were cold when we chose them from the buffet. The hotel is only 200 metres from the main beach, with Starbucks, a Seven-Eleven and plenty of shops all within a very short walk. There was some daily construction noise from 8am on the beach side of the hotel but that didn’t overtake our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Langkawi.

The location of this hotel is great. Plenty of amenities, shopping area and F&b within walking distance. The beach is just across the street. Their breakfast and dinner buffet spread is plentiful and tasty. Rooms are spacious and very clean. We've also gotten a very warm welcome by the hotel staff. Will definitely visit again should we go Langkawi again.
