Some minor hiccups but a pleasant comfortable stay

The hotel is modern looking, comfortable and near a few cafes and such likes. We did have a few issues with our check in and then our room but overall a very nice experience. For the check in the computer system wasn’t working so we had to wait for 10 mins before we could check in. Generally not a major issue but it was at 3am so at the time we were eager to just check in. In the room, the room was good sized, modern and comfortable. Unfortunately there was a very strong and fowl smell coming from shower drain. When we first called someone came to fix it however it didn’t get fixed. We called again and then no one came! When we called third time on the next day then they said we don’t think there’s any smell but we can change your room. The new room didn’t have any smell. Other than that a nice pleasant experience. The food at the hotel was good and the breakfast is decent, even for vegetarians like us with a selection of breads, Azerbaijani jams, a couple of hot dishes, fruit, etc.

Nice hotel but far from city center

Nice clean hotel. Good staff, the hotel about a 5 minute walk from a metro station, however you must change a line in order to connect with Nizami street (city center), takes about 20 minutes in total by metro. The hotel room are clean and quiet, there are good shops and food choices near the hotel. The breakfast area is large and spread is better than most ibis hotels I have been to. Recommended…!

Good, well located hotel for few days, clean with comfortable bed. Too hot rooms, needed to call reception to open the window. Large group of people stayed there so the staff was a bit tense but all in all good stay. Choose the room on the back side of a boulevard.

Ibis baku is a good hotel

The hotel is certainly good. If opportunity comes to visit again Baku, I will stay in Ibis Baku hotel. The staff is very helpful and cooperative. Only thing you must be very careful while coming from Baku Airport to City center especially by Bot taxi app.The Bolt app charges only normal rate but driver will charge you 10 times more than normal rate. The Drivers also may threat you to drop you at lonely place from where you may or may not get bus to reach to your hotel. I made a complaint to Bolt customer support for help but no help or support from them.

Great hotel with great value. Totally loved the customer service they had to offer. They were very helpful and cheerful all the time. Late check in was not a problem. Fatima, Bashir, Rovshanak were of great help all the time. Rooms were okay size but to the point.
