Well Appointed Hotel with Potential to Be Even Better

Afternoon tea was stated to be available from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. However, when I arrived at the rooftop bar at exactly 4:00 PM, there were no staff present. I waited for approximately 10 minutes, yet no one appeared. Time management and operational readiness could certainly be improved. If afternoon tea is scheduled to start at 4:00 PM, it would be more appropriate for staff to be fully prepared and present at that time. The restaurant staff on the lower floor would benefit from further training in product knowledge and guest communication. Clear and confident explanations would help avoid confusion and enhance the overall dining experience. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, although not particularly spacious. Unfortunately, it was somewhat dusty, which caused me to sneeze throughout the night. Housekeeping supervision could be improved to ensure higher cleanliness standards. Additionally, the cups and glasses in the room had an unpleasant odor, suggesting they may not have been properly cleaned or wiped with a clean cloth. The rubber lid of the jar was also very dusty, as if it had not been cleaned for a long time. Unfortunately, I had already taken a few sips before noticing the odor, which was quite disappointing. That said, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and courteous, reflecting the service standards typically associated with Accor properties. Overall, the experience was good, and I hope to see further improvements so the hotel can continue to be a preferred choice among Accor Plus members.

We regret to learn about the unavailability of staff at the rooftop bar at the scheduled afternoon tea time. Your feedback regarding time management and operational readiness has been taken seriously, and this matter has been communicated to our management and the related departments for immediate review and improvement to ensure better preparation going forward. We also apologize for the shortcomings in product knowledge and communication from our restaurant team on the lower floor. Additional training and refreshment sessions will be conducted to enhance clarity, confidence, and overall guest interaction. Regarding the room condition, we are very sorry to hear about the dust, unpleasant odor from the cups and glasses, and the cleanliness issue with the jar lid. This certainly does not reflect our cleanliness standards. Your comments have been shared with our Housekeeping team and management, and corrective actions, including tighter supervision and retraining, are being implemented to prevent a recurrence. On a positive note, we are grateful for your kind recognition of our friendly and courteous team.
