The hotel is in a great location, just a 5-10 minute walk from the metro, and appears to have been recently renovated. We were fortunate that our room was ready when we arrived early so that’s pretty cool! On the positive side, the restaurant/bar team was friendly, and the front office manager always greeted us with a smile. The receptionist who checked us in wasn’t particularly helpful when we had a billing issue; she actually seemed very uninterested in resolving it and just told me she didn’t know what to say. I had to email the management to get a response regarding my query. Apart from that experience with one staff member, I would recommend this hotel for a short/business trip or if you plan on spending most of your time out rather than at the hotel itself.

Stayed here as part of a Stag Weekend in November. Clean and tidy room with all the amenities, great staff and fairly good location (around 10 minute walk to Old Town). Even had a view of the Palace of Parliament from our window! Would defo recommend.

The Mercure Bucharest unirii hotel is one of the bests. Amazing view of the street from the windows The rooms are big and very comfortable and the rooms are very affordable for everyone, the view is truly amazing from the room as it's showcasing the beautiful streets. The staff were very nice and overall i had a really good time with my family in that hotel. For me, the Mercure Bucharest Unirii is truly onr of the bests

Hotel is clean and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent and had all sorts of choices. My bad experience is with the lady in the front desk. Not so accommodating to customers. I was trying to see if I can get some currency break on my 100 Ron, but she rudely said no. I said I could buy something from the store next to the counter and she said she can still refuse to give me change. Considering how business are going after customer satisfaction, this interaction turned me off right away. Hopefully she can be trained on how to politely say no, or at least try to help if possible.

First of all , there was no complementary water in the rooms . You want water buy it at 25 lei , down the road at small convenient store 4.5 lei . Really !!!! Be fair . Also tell visitors it’s safe to drink tap water . Some may , others not . But it’s up to the person . Pillows are atrocious , foam in a pillow case . Give your guests a good nights sleep and they will be happy ! Our Kleenex box had two sheets , I told the receptionist, he said I have to come to your room myself to check . He never did , ! Breakfast was ok , but not refilled , ones it was finished tough luck for those who came late . Over all , I didn’t sleep well ! I was one of the ones first for breakfast , so that was ok . No pancakes or waffles .
