Unacceptable behaviour by the receptionist

I had to argue with the receptionist in order to get the room I had booked and paid for - Unbelievable but true. I made my booking long time ago through my ACCOR account (I am a regular customer) and I arrived at the hotel late night on the 11th of February. After checking in and paying, I went to the room I was given (n. 224), just to find out that was not the one I had reserved (and paid for). Back to the reception of course and when I showed the guy my reservation and explained that the room that I was given was not what I paid for, I got the unbelievable answer “we are almost full and this is what we have”. I explained to him that first of all it is their problem and that the worst thing is that during the checking process they never mentioned that to me as they obviously had to do. It is a totally unacceptable behaviour of a 4 star hotel not only to a regular guest but to anyone. Only after arguing and explaining that I was not willing to accept anything else than what I booked - the receptionist had to go back and forth to speak with the manager - I finally got a room. It was my first time in this particular hotel and I will certainly never come back.

The lobby is impressive but the rooms are in a state of disrepair. A broken lock, a missing remote control and stains on the carpet are evident. The atmosphere is further marred by unprofessional staff who appear to lack customer service training. While some were courteous, only a small percentage were. For example, when we asked for the pool opening time a young man simply pointed and walked away. When we repeated the request he shrugged and continued. This is a representative example of the overall experience. The cost and time invested are not justified and the disappointment is considerable.

I personally, along with my family, highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is very clean, and the service is excellent and very professional. We did not face any problems during our stay. My name is Mahran, and I would like to sincerely thank the entire hotel staff, especially cristina. She is a wonderful, kind, and very helpful person. Words cannot express my gratitude. Cristina is a truly wonderful person. She is kind, polite, and always helpful. Her positive attitude and warm smile made our stay even more pleasant. She genuinely cares about the guests, and her service comes from the heart.

Disappointing Experience with Elevator and Service (Only Breakfast Was a Plus)

Long elevator waits, locked stair doors, and confusing access caused stress and even a panic attack. Restaurant manager was rude, and staff gave wrong directions, leaving us wandering in -7°C. The only positive was the breakfast buffet and the polite, helpful young staff there, also room service clean rooms and bathrooms. Definitely won’t return.
