The service from start to finish at the restaurant was simply amazing. A young waiter, Alex, was very kind, chatty, and helpful during my meal. The food here was good and was brought out quickly. I also found the decor of the restaurant was very clean and tidy which made my time here more enjoyable. I had a very pleasant experience and will most definitely be returning here!

Our student and parent group stayed in this hotel with EF Tours. This hotel is too far away to stay to try to visit London. With traffic and no good highway infrastructure it takes 2 or more hours to get into London. Either the driveway did not accommodate the bus, or it was the bus driver's lack of experience, but it would take us 10 minutes to get in and out of the driveway. The first night there was no hot water in the hotel. We took cold showers. There was no elevator, no air conditioning in the rooms. View was terrible. Carpet had a large stain at the entry to the room. Dirty dishes were still sitting outside our room when we got there late at night to check in. Still there the next morning when I asked for them to be removed. There was a breakfast buffet in the morning.

Food for events since Pankaj arrived has greatly improved to a very high standard and creative / interesting. Well done

We held our annual golf day at Redlibbits Golf course followed by 80 people for a dinner with entertainment and charity fund raising for ‘we are Beans’. A wonderful local children’s charity This is our third year for this event The food was way above previous years. Since Pankaj took over as head Chef the events /special food has dramatically improved Tonight he and his team delivered a wonderful meal and everyone enjoyed and appreciated his creative work. He even made a special chocolate gift for all who checked in and stayed Jacob also ensured with Stanley that the service was great. Jacob took a personal interest in ensuring the service was well above previous years. Adam and Louise in the private bar were - as always exceptional and appreciated Thank you guys. Well done

Louise is simply incredible! Visited Mercure hotel in Dartford for the day with my partner. From the moment I stepped foot inside the spa section Louise made me feel like royalty. Her customer service is the best I have ever experienced anywhere. She was by herself at the front for a while and still managed to be super attentive. I would look at her and she would jump to ask if I needed anything, I was actually stunned at times because I thought “how did she know”. She offered us complimentary drinks because the jacuzzi was out of service for around 30 minutes (good will gesture) and she made sure my belongings were safe as the lockers were full. I could go on and on but I’m sure you get the picture, Louise made me feel like I was welcomed into her home! She definitely takes pride in where she works. Iv made this review about Louise but she deserves it. The facilities were great but Louise was greater! GIVE LOUISE A RAISE!!!!

Let’s start with the best….. Parking - reasonable amount for size of hotel - other than coach parking that parks on the double yellows with the engine running outside your window! The staff - this is the issue with this hotel, none of them give a flying fig! Ordering a meal in the bar you are made to feel like you are an inconvenience, when it arrives peace meal ……. You have to ask for cutlery for both of you …… then you are given two forks and one knife ! You actually have to ask for a second knife ….. then you have to ask for napkins! The food was edible - but sadly cold as it had been sat there and I assume. It under the heat lamps! Around midnight staff were obviously looking for ‘something’ and kept opening doors and allowing them to slam which shouting the same thing each time ……. Only 8 or 9 rooms searched - what the hell ‘Im awake so are you’ staff on duty! Bedding - tired! Let’s say no more and let’s not even look at it ! Breakfast - best meal of the day hey!! Err not at this place …. If the food that’s been kept semi alive by the heat lamps doesn’t put you off, once you have searched for a clean plate and actually dug some food out - then the staff member who stands as the next table very slowly scraping food off the plates and the cutlery will finally put you off eating! If I was a betting person I would guess that the food wastage at this site alone would feed most of Africa. Check out (best part as you are getting the hell out of there) rather loud lady who would mention to her manager (yea right!) after the explanation of it all was there an offer to remove the uneaten breakfast? Nope! When asked if she thought it was ok to be woke. With the staff slamming doors while staying in the hotel ….. the reply was “she was too busy working to stay in a hotel” Not left with a warm fuzzing feeling after spending £144 on the room and approx £40 on food Overpriced and poor
