Stayed here due to the job im in .And had dropped a party of guests who where staying here. Good clean hotel staff very helpful and friendly and a good sized clean room as well. breakfast spot on big thanks

Your list of amenities states FREE PARKING. This is NOT true, and I was charged £100 by a private parking company for parking in a disabled bay outside reception while I was attending a meeting at the hotel. I can't understand why parking is being charged somewhere way outside the town centre, and also I wasn't parked in the secure parking area. Signage on the way in was not clear that you could be charged outside of the secure area. I presume that guests have some arrangement to compensate for this but there are many people, like me, who have to attend meetings etc. All in all it doesn't evoke a welcoming atmosphere does it? I am disgusted and will be making my concerns known to the town council and social media!

I've stayed here many times over a 10+ year period, it's a good hotel used I'd say mostly by people on the road for their business & employment, the restaurant food I'd say is a little expensive, but the buffet breakfast is very good, hotel staff/bar staff I always find friendly & helpful... As I've said it's my choice of hotel when in the area for my work....

New Year's eve break

I have booked for 5 rooms to stay for the new year's eve until 2nd January for a short holiday break with my family. The Hotel is big and has a very relaxing atmosphere. My wife and I requested to change our room and Mr. Dave from the reception has been very helpful. We also had dinner as a family at the restaurant and we'd like to thank Jordan for her outstanding and friendly service to us though we were a big group, she has handled us very well. What we did not like; We chose this hotel because we wanted to relax in the pool and use the sauna and steam. But unfortunately, we were not informed that the pool will be closed on January 1st. They should have told us earlier so we could plan our holiday. The hotel has the responsibility to inform their guests for any changes or important informations. Our stay was not very satisfying because of this.

Pleasant enough Christmas

As part of a group I spent Christmas at this Hotel. Initial impressions upon arriving were that it looked little run down in as much as the Car Parking security has changed but some of the previous signage remained. Inside its pleasant enough in the public areas and very clean. Note that at this time of the year the bar is a cold place to sit, since its proximate to the entrance doors. Staff are very nice and the food was for the most part very enjoyable. I would recommend and would return.
