I recently held a work's dinner dance at the hotel - the night was a great success! From working with the events coordinator at the hotel to confirm arrangements in advance to all the staff in the hotel on the night - a seamless event with great service.

A deserved relax after work

I have been here for a business trip. There is nothing better than going back home from work , relax in the swimming pool and take some time for myself at the gym. Best if I meet Marta and Samantha on my way back. They provided me with everything needed, always with a great smile :)

Staff very helpful, from booking in to booking out. Excellent meal and good base for a weekend Parking eye was down, which was a bonus, plenty of signs and is much cheaper if staying at the hotel . Quiet location away from the town location, with plenty of space to walk.

We didn’t get off to a good start as when we arrived at 22.30 with 2 children (prepaid) we were told they had overbooked and there were no family rooms available. The first solution was for the children to sleep on mattresses on the floor, the second was for us to find another hotel. A room was eventually found, this was right next to a wedding marquee and the music was very loud until 12pm. None of us could get to sleep due to this. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The pool was an additional £10 for 1 adult and 2 children, we weren’t expecting this- probably in the small print. The breakfast was disappointing. We have actually stayed here a few times previously but sadly our experience this time has put us off ever returning. From looking as recent reviews, the issues we experienced are a regular occurrence which aren’t being addressed.
