We came to 10/10 Pool Bar Rooftop for dinner and had a lovely time. Although we had to wait around 20 minutes for the food, we understood since the hotel was running at high occupancy on long weekends. It would’ve been nice if the staff had informed us about the delay, but overall the service was still polite. Special thanks to Rama at the front desk he was so friendly and welcoming. I really appreciated the way he greeted us and even took the time to escort us from the lobby to the restaurant. It made a great first impression and added a warm touch to our visit. The beef burger was delicious juicy and flavorful, served with crispy french fries. I also really enjoyed the Lumpia Mataram; the portion was big, and the price was very reasonable. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing, with a beautiful rooftop view overlooking the swimming pool and city skyline. The location is also very convenient just a short walk from Malioboro, which makes it an easy choice for both locals and tourists. A few small suggestions: when I arrived, the table I chose was still wet as it had just stopped raining. It would be nice if the staff could prepare or dry the tables beforehand during weather changes. Also, it would be great if the waiter or F&B manager could walk around occasionally to check on guests and ensure everything is okay. As part of an international chain under the Accor Group, maintaining consistent service standards would make the experience even better.

The location is ideal - at the top (nearest train station) end of Malioboro Street. Everything was nearby - Malioboro Street itself, malls, shops and the train station is not far away. Ideal as a base for visiting Borobudur and Prambanan. The staff were efficient and very helpful. The place is beautifully clean and the rooms spacious for a few night stay. The buffet breakfast was extensive - a great deal of Asian dishes but plenty of western choices including an egg station. Would thoroughly recommend it.

Great staff, particularly, Zalfa at the receptionist area, all in the restaurant and all in the lobby in probably one of the best locations for foreigners (malls with restaurants a few sreps away). Rooms with new generation concepts but with slightly off-balanced designs of doors around the bathroom. A wide choice of "local foods" for breakfast. One may try to walk to/from Yogyakarta train station.

Decent hotel in Yogyakarta

I stayed in this hotel for two nights. The check in was very smooth. The room was decent. Unfortunately it had no view. This hotel is in Malioboro so it was a very busy place. I was able to go and get some dinner easily. Unfortunately, in the morning, I found some ants in the room. When I informed the hotel, they kindly offered to change the room. I went out for the day and when I came back, my room was ready to be transferred. This was a nicer room with a good view of the city. Overall, I found the hotel was decent but lower in quality than other Novotel I have stayed in. The bathroom, especially was very dated and I did not enjoy the shower at all. The service was excellent.
