Grand Mercure Yogya is always my favorite hotel in Yogya. Very nicely decorated with very strong Javanese accent and all the staffs are very nice to reflect Javanese hospitality. For my stay this time, special thank to pak Tri and pak Iwan who have made all the arrangements for my stay to make my stay very enjoyable. This time, while I have business trip to Yogya, I bring along my family so that they can enjoy Yogya, so, I book 2 rooms as I have 3 children. As always, service are great. Bed room is very comfortable and uniquely this hotel also provide bolster (bantal guling) in the room that for me is very nice because that is what I miss when staying in hotel, so you feel like home. For breakfast, in order to avoid crowd in the restaurant, all Accor hotels I have stayed so far during covid including Grand Mercure Yogya have extended room service breakfast which is very convenient. Grand Mercure Yogya location is in the main road, only within walking distance to shopping mall and hospital. There are many street food around the hotel within walking distance that open until very late. One of the good street food "lesehan" that I like is Gudeg Batas Kota which is just less than 100 m from the hotel. Grand Mercure Yogya is one of my favorite hotel in Yogya and highly recommended for business as well as leisure.

Booking in last minute via apps and found the rate is higher than usual, maybe it is because of holiday peak season. Compare with my previous stay last year I missed some compliment that I usually got as a platinum member, now they don't have executive lounge for cek in/out and daily tea/coffee, and no employee notice abaut afternoon tea/Tapas that ussualy served in the bar. anyway I Enjoyed my welcome drink a lot because I get the best Espresso Martini, thanks to Mr bartender (sorry I forgot his name) that been worked in Novotel bali for those nice coacktail.

On line check-in did not save any time at all, full check-in still had to be done. Good meet & greet staff and check-in staff. Nice bar that had excellent and friendly bartenders . Excellent rooms and breakfast has many choices.

Nice, Friendly and Helpful staff, Easy Check in and out. Big and Well maintained room. Bed was great, big enough for 2 adults and 1 child. Breakfast was nice with a lot of choice. Mall is in walking distance.

Hotel reputation with excellent location and facilities. Waiters at the restaurant are very friendly and professional. I got an upgraded room but the room AC blower was noisy and annoying. We were very disappointed with the hotel management how at 10 o'clock in the evening my room could have guests coming in and could turn on the lights, but eventually the guest realized that there was someone in the room. we were quite surprised because at that time we were resting. and we complain right then and there to the front office. but it is unfortunate we did not get feedback or apologies for the incident ..

Designed to handle bug groups/ functions but able to give personal attention to individuals! Chrisyina duty manager moved swiftly to address safety deposit box issues. Iham and Riscka at F&B were most attentive to me and my colleagues. Tri also made our stay special and welcome. Only problem is the traffic to get there!

Location was very near to airport and check-in was easy. Receptions was courteous and helpful. Breakfast was very good with good variety of local and western spreads. Room furnishing was a bit aged and bed comforter has molded stains.

cleanliness of the hotel is very nice and the painting that i have in my room is very well. but for the elevator there's a uniqness because if we want to go downstairs, we have to push all the down button for the 3 elevator. not 1 for all

The first time I stayed in this hotel was soon after it's opening a couple of years ago. Several facilities were not yet available, staff were new although very attentive and eager to please the guests. This time round I preferred to stay in another hotel. But needing one night hotel in Yogya at the end of the 4 day stay, I decided to give another try. It proved to be a happy and excellent choice. All staff were highly professional and did their very best to satisfy the guests, making sure that we would contact them should we need anything. Reception was efficient and very friendly, helpful also upon checking out, upgrading room as requested. Breakfast was very good with helpful staff. The room was big enough with a wide glass window providing nice view to the mountain. Will choose to stay in Grand Mercure Maha Cipta next visit.

The room with twin beds was "smaller" than what I was told in Web Site. I had to get a spare bed for my Sister-in-Law for my room at Rp600,000 per night. My room did not have a stand-up shower but a bath tube. The adjoining rooms that had my Son did not have a connection with my room. Had to go into the hall to get to the adjoining room.

Trying out this new Grand Mercure Yogyakarta for the 1st time since it is new. Location wise is great. It is 10 minutes walk to Ambarukmo Plaza Mall and 15 minutes by car to airport. Staff is friendly but the Executive Lounge is below average. Information flow within the staff is weak.

Great birthday holiday stay

Tried to check in around 11am but unfortunately was told the room was not ready. Instead took a trip to a nearby mall and returned at 2pm and they had arranged for our suitcase to be in the room already. Slight problem with this room on 8th floor that there was a constant lingering cooking smell due to proximity to the kitchen, and also the bathroom door causing water to always flow out towards the sink/toilet area. Requested for change of room but was told it was fully booked until 2 days later.2 days later the new room arranged by Mr Roland who took the trouble to inform by WhatsApp, was much better and solved both problems of smell and bathroom facilities.Breakfast was good with a decent spread and spacious dining area, featuring both local food and international selection. With the lounge undergoing renovation, we tried the happy hour at the bar tucked at the back of the restaurant at 8th floor and we were presented with "tapas" that was a selection of fried snacks and a drink choice. Feel that more can be done in this area. Was told that there will not be a privilege lounge in this hotel in the future anymore which is a pity.Gym facilities are decent and well equipped- all machines looked new and well serviced.Pool was smaller than looked in the photographs and we did not have a chance to try it out. Seems like it is shared with the ibis hotel next door.Lastly, compliments must be given for the hotel's arrangement for a breakfast box for us to go to see the Borobudur Sunrise. It was prepared for us at 3am with great detail. Also, a birthday cake and birthday wishes were presented by the staff which was a great surprise.

Generalnie bylem zadowolony z otrzymanego pokoju,i nie mam co sie skarzyc co do poziomu obslugi hotelowej..,poki nie mialem poszedlem do restauracji..Najgorsza kuchńia,ktora mozna sobie tylko wyobrazic..poprosilem przygotowac mi rybe na parze z brokulami..dostalem zgnile brokuly i watpliwego pochodzenia rybe,ktora najpierw przynisiono mi jako snaper,pozniej tlumaczono mi ze to grouper..w rzeczywistosci nie bylo to nic z tego,w dodatku nie byla poskrobana z luski..,jedzenie pod czas sniadania nie uzupelnia sie nalezycie..,a kiedy poskarzylem sie do przedstawiciela koerownictwa hotelu,uslyszalem,ze najwidoczniej gosci z Europy maja wieksze wymagania.. faktycznie,nie oklamywac czlowieka w restauracji,podajac jedna rybe zamiast drugiej,to bardzo duze wymaganie...w skutku czego moge smialo powiedziec,ze nikt z Europy nie powińinien robic tu rezerwacji..(zgodnie z polityka koerownictwa hotelu)..,kiedy zaproponowalem przeniesc mnie do innego hotelu,tez dostalem odmowe..Moeszkalem w hotelach Grand Mercure w Tajlandzie,Wietnamie,Singaporze,ale nigdzie nie spotkalem takiej arogancji...,tak samo ,jak mieszkalem w wielu hotelach Indonezji,i nigdzie nie spotkalem tak zlej kuchni..

This is my second time staying at Grand Mercure Yogyakarta Adisucto. The first stay was this February when the hotel just soft launched. Now it’s fully launch, I can experience the great services provided by the hotel. Thank you for the room upgrade to deluxe suite. The room is spacious and comfortable especially the bed. Bathroom amenities kits are excellent! Breakfast and dining at the Purple restaurant is simply amazing. Great restaurant staff, attention of details and friendly as always. Food is great with both local Jogja and international cruisine available to choose from the menu. The laundrette services is simply great with affordable pricing. The staff will pick up the dirty laundry immediately after I have rang the housekeeping and after returning back to my room after a day appointment, the clean and folded laundry is on the bed ready to be worn. Well done to the Purple restaurant and housekeeping. I would like to take this opportunity to suggest further improvements the hotel can consider as below. 1) Having more lights in the room and corridors as the current light source is quite dim in the guest room and around the corridors of the hotels in the evening. It can be somehow scary and spooky in the evening if you are alone walking at the corridors towards the room or out of the room and in the room. 2) Provide a rack in the shower areas to put shampoos, bath gels bottles and face cleanser. There is currently nothing for me to put my stuffs while showering in the cubicle and I have to keep opening and closing the door to get my stuff while showering. 3) The water pressure in the shower is weak. It took me longer to shower than usual. Please increase the water pressure. Overall, I can say Grand Mercure Yogyakarta Adisucipto Hotel is a great place to stay and I would definetly consider staying back at this hotel when I return to Yogyakarta in the future.
