Novotel Wrockaw - Not what is expected

I have stayed in many Novotels around the World before and know what to expect. Upon arrival I was greeted by a friendly reception staff member and allocated a room. Upon arrival in the room though one of my pet hates - I paid for a "confortable superior room with one double bed" - which was not what I got. I got 2 single beds pushed together, with the large dip in the middle!! If I ay for a double I should get a double.. Also the air conditioning was useless. I would have opened my window, but I couldn't!! Bar was great though and open until midnight - with a variety of beers.

Karina is the best!!! (service) good food and the location isn't bad, will come again to Novotel in Wroclove, rooms are clean.

Good if the area suits

The hotel is located a walkable distance to the main train station and the Old Town but it’s more in a business district than tourist area. We were able to check-in early which was a bonus. Our superior room was an ok size with wardrobe, safe, fridge, tea & coffee facilities, large TV, desk, small table and chair. There is a major construction site next door, but it didn’t really bother us. The bathroom was small but adequate with basic amenities. We didn’t eat in the hotel but there is a bar in reception and filtered water available at the lift well. Overall, it’s worth consideration if you are happy with the location.

Excellent hotel. Very comfortable. The restaurant in particular is amazing. My top tip for any restaurant is to ask the staff for their recommendations. Karina was brilliant, her recommendations were spot on. I had a stunning Thai dish for my main and a fabulous blueberry sponge for dessert. She also recommended I try the local craft beer. It was lovely.
