Originally booked as a stop over on the way back to Caen but on arriving found ourselves in an enchanting little enclave on the banks of the 'Rance' under the towering presence of Dinan. The hotel itself was modern with large well appointed rooms, providing for a quiet comfortable nights sleep. Large outdoor swimming pool. Breakfast catered for all tastes. There are plenty of restaurants dotted along the banks of the 'Rance,' near the hotel. Plenty of free parking. Wi-Fi worked well. Will definitely return to explore the area.

First impressions are most important, and the reception staff at this hotel were warmly welcoming, professional and extremely helpful. They offered much welcomed information on the free bus service running up to the walled city of Dinan, and helped to orient us to the area. Our room was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was awesome with a wide variety of all food groups. Although the hotel does not provide lunch and dinner service, it is within close walking distance to numerous good restaurants. On a rainy day, when the complimentary hotel umbrellas had been loaned out, one of the receptionists loaned us her own umbrella. Definitely beyond the call of duty! We would definitely return!

Wonderful location next to the river. Room had a deck overlooking the swimming pool. The bar overlooked the river with lots of restaurants just over the bridge. The walk up to Dinan is a challenge, but a lovely town to visit with many cafes and interesting buildings.

Location, location, location .... there isn't a lot more to say about this hotel really. It's location is superb. Close to the river, its views, ambiance and its restaurants. We stayed 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The hotel is scrupulously clean and kept well. Parking is secure, and Dinan town is a just few steps up the hill. All very convenient. (I'm joking about the few steps up the hill by the way. Its 0.5km of extremely steep climbing, but I'm 74 and did it every day!)

This is a very nice hotel on the bank of the river. The rooms are a reasonable size and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The staff were welcoming and spoke English quite well. Breakfast was a buffet that was tailored to all nationalities and the scrambled eggs were especially good. We also enjoyed using the outdoor pool. A lovely place to spend a day or three, with loads of restaurants on the other bank of the river, a walk of about 200 metres.
