Excellent property, wonderful view. Good location, polite and supportive staff, lovely hospitality. Value for money, i found this property is a best choice to stay in Phokeetra, Phuket old town surrounded and nearby by market, famous Torry's Ice-cream 😀

Hard beds not so comfortable

A very run down Accor property that has been forgotten by investors. a visibly aged building with dated fixtures and the most horrible beds I’ve ever slept on. The beds are not consistent with the Novotel Brand. Bar didn’t have much atmosphere in lobby appeared as though they didn’t want to be open at all with very little preparation. Some distance from the action of you want access to local restaurants and bar scene.

Dear Foodieofaus, Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your stay. We are sorry that your stay did not live up to the standards we expect for all of our guests. We are sorry that you found the beds to be uncomfortable and you feel that they are not consistent with the feel in other Novotel's we do have flexible bedding options so if a guest prefers a softer mattress we can add additional toppers to cater for this. It would be most helpful if you could elaborate regarding the property being run down, so that we can learn and improve from your feedback. The hotel has been open for 8 years and our rooms undergo routine maintenance when needed or annually and the majority of our interior design is in a modern style. Our pool area is just undergoing a transformation and our rooftop bar was updated earlier this year. It is True that generally for a bar experience the majority of our guest would choose to attend our rooftop bar Estrela rather than the lobby bar and our lobby bar generally caters for coffees, snacks and soft drinks during the hours of 10am to 6pm. Within a 1.5km radius there is 10 listed Michelin Guide restaurants and their is a free shuttle bus accessible 5 minutes walk from the hotel that orbits the whole of the Phuket Town. This bus generally takes 5 minutes to the main street in Phuket Old Town. We are sorry if this was not highlighted to you during your stay. A must visit stopover or extended stay when traveling to Phuket!

Phuket Town has come such a long way over the years. It is now a vibrant energetic, bustling center full of great restaurants, bars and live entertainment. Not to mention the great night markets in the middle of town that now operates over two parallel streets, thereby spreading out the crowds. Novotel Phuket Phokeethra is in the perfect position to take advantage of all that Phuket Town has to offer. It is a very well run and maintained property, boasting its own great rooftop bar & restaurant. Also has plenty of guest parking available. Just far enough from the airport, it is a must stopover when flying into Phuket whether international or domestic. The hotel is also so close to the Harbour for easy boat transfers and tours around Phuket and out to the various other islands, including Krabi. Certainly beats flying into Krabi from Bangkok! The Executive, Front Desk and F&B teams all do a fantastic job at welcoming guests and making their stay memorable. Thanks to everyone, especially GM Paul, Front Office Manager Khun Maimoon, Restaurant Manager Khun Jack and Khun Jojo in the bar who all contributed to our fantastic recent stay!

Really nice bar with good views! The staff were so kind and accommodating! Jojoe looked after us in the bar and brought us popcorn and water! Would definitely recommend for the views! The cocktails we had were delicious and were even on 2 for 1 when we went!

First of all amazing service, Jojoe and his team is so passionate about their work. His team is quick and efficient.Prices are really reasonable! Great rooftop bar with the most incredible view over Phuket. I can only recommend this place.
