Very disappointing stay, we waited an hour for our room to be ready , when we finally got to the room there was only one bathrobe to share! One teabag to share ! We stayed for two nights and on returning to our room on the second day we found the bed that was supposedly made up looking like a screwed up mess , pillows just thrown on Bathrobe screwed up on the bedside table Cups and wine glasses had been removed but not replaced , still no teabags We rang reception for an ice bucket so that we could have a wine whilst getting ready to go to a concert. It took 1.5 hours to arrive We complained to management who offered us a $50 voucher for room service , we ordered when we returned from the concert again waited an hour for it to arrive , to find that it was stone cold ! Never again !!!

Save your money and go elsewhere.

For the price (over $1200 for 2 nights) the hotel is not worth the stay. Pros: Clean and tidy Amazing breakfast buffet. Lots of food and drink options. Lots of seating to choose from. Concierge around the breakfast area were prompt to assist. Concierge were quick to answer emails 2 of the 3 times I asked questions prior to arrival. Close to MCG, AAMI stadium and Rod Laver if you are staying to attend an event (though further from the main CBD). Cons: Cold foyer. Small and dark room. For a Deluxe it was very small and uninviting. Tiny nook kitchenette with a coffee pod machine and no instructions on how to use it. No ventilation or fan in bathroom at all. When showering the room completely fogged up so water dripped down the door and walls. No lock on the bathroom door and mould in the floor drain. We had to call concierge to get out of the carpark BOTH times that we attempted to leave, despite providing the rego when asked at check in. In addition to paying the $90 to use the small, dingy underground parking. Pool was plain and uninviting, not lit up in the evening either despite it being open until 9pm. It didn’t feel heated either. Tiny gym with super basic equipment and light weights. There were no loose mini bottles of products to use in the bathroom as they were fixed to the wall and all took approx 20 pumps to dispense. The hotel payment, the parking and the card holding fee were all done in 3 individual transactions with each incurring a surcharge. The night time dining/room service the food was really expensive and a simple pizza only offered 1 option (pepperoni) for $28. We had our kids with us and there were only 2 kids meal options being nuggets or burger. The rooms heating/cooling conditioner unit was SO loud. I’m surprised I got any sleep with it blasting and clunking. Upon checkout the desk clerk did not ask how my stay was, simply asking if there was anything taken from the mini bar and I was all paid up so to have good day.

We stayed here for 1 night. The location of this hotel is fantastic if you are attending a sporting event as the MCG. Rod Laver Arena or the Glass House are so close. The hotel is also close to Bridge Rd for dining and shopping. There is a tram stop at the front of the hotel and Jolimont Train Station is also over the road where you can catch a train to Flinders St Station and change trains to go anywhere you want. The Fitzroy Gardens are across the road and it's a short walk into the city centre. The hotel itself is really nice. There is parking under the hotel and check in was easy. I did find the lobby very cold. Once we arrived at our room, we booked a Superior Room, with a king size bed which was very comfy, good pillows, large tv mounted on the wall, a small round table with 2 chairs, a small couch against the window with a coffee table. The bathroom had a single vanity, large walk-in shower with great water pressure and temperature. Robes were nice and soft, warm too. The standard amenities provided too. The room was of a good size with the bathroom being a tad small, but ok. We had breakfast included and it was excellent. The variety of foods, the usual fruits, cereals, breads, eggs etc. Tea & coffee was self-serve and they had teapots for tea! The only improvement would be to have the lobby a lot warmer; I found it quite uncomfortable. It's a shame Tripadvisor don't have a category of "Very Good", as this hotel will fall under it. Overall, this hotel is good, staff are lovely and would recommend a stay here.

Ho prenotato per due notti in due momenti diversi, perché è intervenuta la necessità di usare la stanza anche nel pomeriggio dopo le 11 A.M.. Ho fatto per la seconda volta il check in, come mi era stato chiesto, qmspecificando che avrei lasciato la stanza alle 7:30 P.M., ma al mio rientro alle 3:30 P.M. ho trovato la stanza non rifatta e ho dovuto chiamare la reception. Il personale si è limitato a fare il letto, dare una pulita veloce al bagno e portare gli asciugamani, tra l'altro porgendomeli in mano e non sistemando nel bagno. Ho chiesto alla reception due biscotti, perché non avevo pranzato, e non sono mai arrivati. Troppo, per un 4 stelle.
