Sad and overpriced

Tired, sad, overpriced and just bad. We paid $500 for a one-night stay at this hotel and I’m still gobsmacked. Normally when you pay that kind of money, you’ll get an included breakfast or included parking or at the very least something with facilities. Nope. Everything was extra. It was like $25 per day for parking. $25 per person for breakfast per day. And it’s not like you’re paying for the dazzling accomodations. The place is very rundown and quite dark. The bar closed at 10pm, I think room service did too. I’ve stayed at 50 year old motels that were better. I probably wouldn’t be as miffed if the place had been priced reasonably and if the photos had accurately shown that this was a budget option. But as it stands, I’ve stayed in 4-star hotels in the south of France for this price. And this was certainly not that. Would definitely not stay again.

Nice stay and had wonderful dinner at the tempo.Good offerings in the breakfast buffet, kitchen team was very courteous.We enjoyed their food and service food. Nice ambiance and view as well. Room size and cleanliness was very good, rate was affordable too. We loved it, will be back soon.

Booked through Luxury Escapes and got an excellent deal. The check in staff were delightful (Thanks Tanya), the view from the room was wonderful. Excellent location opposite the waterfront. Breakfast was fairly typical buffet, but certainly can't complain.

I enjoyed staying at the Novotel with Merryn for 2 nights from Friday 26th April 2024 to Sunday 28th April 2024 we really enjoyed the Steam Room. Also we liked playing Table Tennis, Dominos and swimming in the Indoor Pool but it was cold not heated. On Wednesday 2nd October 2024 I lodged a payment dispute with my financial institution against them since when I stayed there for 2 nights in April 2024 the bed was extremely uncomfortable and when I spoke to them back in July 2024 they were extremely unhelpful. On Wednesday 30th October 2024 the dispute was closed in my favour since there was no response from the merchant so I got to keep the credit of $523.45.
