Everyone was nice except for the security team

Whenever I visit Jakarta again, I prefer to stay at Novotel for many reasons. I love their deluxe room! Luckily, they upgraded my room this time and I finally hit the platinum Accor membership 😅😅 The executive room was huge enough for my stay, I had space to open my two large luggages. There was a nice comfy sofa with a low table too, so you can eat your food there while enjoying the TV. Also, there was a sofa bed where you can enjoy the city view next to the window 😍😍 This room also offers a free mini bar!! So you can get free juice and milk mini boxes. They also provided me a new yoga mat this time at the gym! I can’t forget to mention to pak Nugroho (pak Oo) and team. I had a couple of problems with the security team but he and his team solved the problems quickly. But I think Novotel cikini needs to review their security team so that they can treat Novotel cikini’s guests better than BCA’s security people. I was going to give 3 stars for this stay because the security team didn’t treat me well a couple of times. However, “Pak Oo, you really have an amazing team”. Special thanks to mas Aris and mas Wisnu. I’ve known them since 2022. They have never changed since then. They have always been helpful and treat me not only as a customer but as a close friend! Next is mba Artha, she is a new member of FO team, but her positive energy was contagious, and I couldn't help but smile. Other associates deserve a mention such as bu Brenda, pak Eddy, pak Tri, mba Caca, mba Salsa, mas Arie, and mas Rustam. You guys were always a great help whenever I needed it. Thanks a lot! As for the waiter team, thank you Mas Dede for the ice cubes. Last but not least, thank you to all housekeeping crews who worked on the 11th floor during my stay! Hopefully for my trip to Jakarta next year, Mas Aris and mas Wisnu are still working at Novotel Cikini but in higher positions. They proved to me that they deserve a promotion! Pak Riganda Tagatorop, please consider it :) Once again, thank you Novotel Cikini! 😍😍

Check-in was smooth and Wisnu the front office staff who checked us in were very helpful and kind. Housekeeping room staff Hafidz made our room very clean and pleasant. Thanks for the personal touches such as the creatively handcrafted monkey out of the face towels. I must say the transfer to the airport ruined my otherwise perfect and wonderful experience at Novotel. The driver was not friendly, cold and rude in my opinion. We booked two cars that day and this middle aged driver drove us to the airport and dropped us at the domestic departure instead of international. Only when he realized his mistake then he start acting nice. Prior to that he was cold, sarcastic and unapproachable.

Exceptional stay. I'm taking my time writing this review because I love the cozy ambient this hotel has to offer for us, as well as the high-level kind of hospitability given by the staffs I met in lobby. The waiter Iyan is so so kind, he brought our food to the room and was so nice, professional and very helpfull. His smile was so honest and kind. He served the food with a big smile, he talked with us very friendly. He makes the hotel guest feel very comfortable and welcome at Novotel Cikini. So i say promote him to the reception / frontoffice because if guests come to check in and the get Iyan to welcome them all guests will feel very very welcome! Thanks for this experience at Novotel Cikini Iyan!
