Friendly staff. Especially at the reception. Hotel is in a good enough location, room are big enough, well maintained and with all you need. Being on sukhumvit isn’t the best if you want to stay away from the crowd. Breakfast was good but a bit expensive for what is it.

Hey! This hotel very perfect overall. Upon check in the lady manager Ms.Mary & Ms.Nicky was very nice and explain the direction to Golden Buddha and Mr.Pideer also he helpful and sent heavy luggage to our room. Rooftop very clear and beautiful I love it so much. Wroth it !!!!

ibis Styles Bangkok Sukhumvit Phra Khanong is a modern high rise hotel but having read a number of reviews I would 100% agree the staff are very cold and unfriendly. Not even a 'hello' when you check in, just one abrupt word Passport! Not once was I greeted and as a Gold member yet they are supposed to recognise your status but not one word recognising my status and not a hello once. They keyed my room incorrectly so I was locked out of my room which was corrected but again it showed a lack of attention to detail when checking you in. There is little acknowledgement of guests for members or non memers, and staff don't offer any assistance and I would rate the staff very poorly, unfriendly and unprofessional. They do not offer any advice and they don't offer any detail, info or explanation as to facilities and services within the hotel After checking in, I went to my room, which is a reasonable size, and it has very comfortable beds. However, the pillows are a but lumpy. There is a 40 inch LCD TV with a poor selection of channels, there is a safe, a bar fridge, tea and coffee making facilities a small desk and chair, another dirty chair in the corner of the room with disgusting stains on it, and a small bench type seat. The rooms are modern and the air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked reasonably well. The bathroom has poor lighting above the vanity mirror and the water pressure in the shower is average at best. They provide dental kits hand in bath towels but no face washers. There is a rooftop open air bar with good views across the suburbs and Bangkok from the 26th floor. There is a lap style swimming pool on the 7th floor, however whoever designed it was not thinking properly as it gets no sun for the majority of the day. There is a 7-Eleven a couple of doors away and about 500 mtrs away is the BTS Phra Khanong sky train station. There are 2 very large supermarkets both big C and Lotus both about a kilometres walk away and not particularly easy to find due to walking through narrow streets and navigating twisting lanes and roads and lack if signage. The hotel location is well out of the main tourist area of Bangkok, but those areas are easily accessible from the BTS sky train. Overall I found the rooms to be reasonably pleasant and comfortable and the staff are in great need of some training and supervision in have a great and deal with customers

I loved staying in Ibis styles Sukhumvit Phra Khanong. Although I made a last minute reservation, everything was just perfect. The assistant front office manager, Mary, greeted me with a huge smile and the best hospitality I could ever ask for. She really made my day and the stay in Bangkok and I really appreciate it!! I would definitely come back here and would also recommend to all my family and friends! Thank you so much!!

I would like say I’ve never had such a great experience at any other property! The staff members Melly, Fairy and Mimi were really helpful and helped us get an early checkin. If i ever visit again, i’ll be staying here only for sure.
