I have long been a fan of this hotel. Since the hotel started operations, some things have remained great but some things needs improvement. The rooms; still great. The rooms are spacious, generally well maintained and clean. The mattress, pillows and bolsters are very comfortable. There are minor items where the bar fridge may not be cold, and the HDMI port on the TV is not working. The staff; very friendly and helpful. They are wonderful! I would like to propose that the staff manning the reception desk be proficient in English to better help guests. The restaurant. This stems from my limited visits, 2 to 3 times, for dinner. I do not like the new menu. The prices are great but some of my old favorites are gone. Ice cream is no longer on the menu. Lasagna is gone too. I used to be able to get the Accor Plus discount when I charge to room, but now the discount is only applied to dine in, pay on-site. I do not understand the reason for change. I normally have to wait 20-30 mins in the restaurant for my dinner to arrive. And frankly, there are mosquitoes in the restaurant so waiting for dinner is not pleasant. Welcome gift: drinks and cake. The thought is nice and thank you. However, the cake is too heavy and the drink variety is not great so I tend not to partake. Others; laundry. I make it a point to ensure my laundry is sent in first thing in the morning. Often, however, I am told that the laundry will only return the following night, 11pm. Seems very long time for laundry. And this means that if I check out the next day, I will not receive my laundry in time. This should be improved.

Always a challenge to call the reception, nobody pick up the call. Called once at 6pm to request to check the aircon, technician came and adjusted the thermostat. Came back at 9pm room still very warm. Called again 4 times to reception nobody answer. Have to head down to lobby and inform the reception. Minibar not chilled - replace new still the same. Pool maintenance is very bad. Dirty leaves everywhere. Location far from malls.

Tried the fairly new hotel in Batam recently and here are my observations: 1) they only provide 1 pc of keycard upon check in. Should you locked yourself out, they will assist you to the lift and housekeeping staff withh assist to open your door. No way of getting another keycard 2) room was nice, clean and bright. But bed was hard, mind you. If you opted for smoking room, please ensure you ask for an ashtray 3) amenities are great, children playground, wading pool, adult pool, gym are some to mention 4) breakfast: varieties of food. Unfortunately you need to wait for coffee/tea and cutleties to be replenished. This is a no no for me. Regardless odlf manpower shortage, this is basic rule of running an F&B 5) shops and convenience stores are not available in the area. So you need to stock up your fridge if you head to the malls. Buy some necessary snacks, drinks if you can. Fairly a good stay except for some hiccups but I reckon the management can improve on this soon

Use to be a good hotel which is my priority stay at Batam Book for 2 room given (201,215) Given broken keycard holder to accor gold member. Toilet room hard to open (201) Smoking smell (215) Bed sheet stain (215) Pillow case broke (215) Key card only 1 per room. Request for 2 got rejected. First hotel ever I stay which don’t provide 2 key card by paying Flexi rate. Gold member entitlement of welcome drink, but front desk do not provide until I ask for it. Given a piece of cheap photo copy which old ppl cannot read on what is written. Disappointed as a accor member, will reconsider to stay with ibis styles batam ever again Plus : Room are clean Spacious Toiletries complete Easy access Friendly staff
