been there for a couple times and never failed me. the staff are so friendly and helpful. love the vibe of this hotel. the room just perfect for us, perfectly clean. the breakfast was so yummy. one of my go to hotel in Batam.

We had a wonderful stay at Ibis Styles Batam Nagoya. Even though we only stayed for one day, we enjoyed every bit of our holiday! My kids absolutely loved the swimming pool; it was definitely the highlight of their trip. The hotel’s vibrant and playful atmosphere made us feel welcome from the start. It’s the perfect spot for a quick family getaway. What made our stay even more special was the warm and genuine hospitality from the staff, thank you Ronal, Fendi, Siwi, Putra, Rius!

Dear Management Team, I had a very pleasant stay at ibis Styles Batam Nagoya and would like to share my appreciation for your outstanding team. During check-in, my wife was informed that a smoking room was unavailable. When I arrived at the hotel, Front Office staff Friska calmly and patiently explained the situation and assured me that she would arrange a transfer from a non-smoking room to a smoking room as soon as one became available. The following day, Tania from the Front Office informed me that the smoking room was ready and arranged the transfer smoothly. I was happy—not simply because of the room change, but because of the genuine care, friendliness, and professionalism shown by the Front Office team, which truly made our stay comfortable and pleasant. A special shout-out to Putra for his exceptional, professional, and easygoing attitude. His humor and positive energy added fun and laughter to my day. If anyone needs recommendations on places to visit, I highly recommend approaching him. I would also like to commend Friska, Tania, Yohana, Putra, and Advant for their exceptional performance. They served with dedication, professionalism, and without prejudice, ensuring every guest felt welcomed and comfortable. Additionally, my sincere thanks to Natasha Azhar and Ari from the Dining Department for their professionalism, helpfulness, and warm smiles while on duty. Their positive attitude truly stood out. As a side note, I hope the management team can look into improving the hotel bar fridge, as it may enhance the overall guest experience. I had a very pleasant stay at ibis Styles, mainly because of the amazing staff who truly made the experience memorable. Front Office – Tania Tania assisted us during check-in and was extremely professional in her explanation and communication. The process was smooth and clear, and she handled our requests very well. Front Office – Friska Friska was on the night shift during our stay. She provided clear and helpful explanations for our inquiries, and her polite and calm manner made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. Front Office – Putra Putra was the most outstanding staff member during our stay. If you need recommendations for places or things to do, look for him — he’s like a front office and concierge combined. His service was exceptional, and I truly hope he will go far in the hotel industry. Six-star service from him. Front Office – Wirman Wirman was very honest and guest-focused. His attention to detail was excellent, and even when certain requests could not be fulfilled, his explanations were clear and reasonable, which we really appreciated. Room & Facilities The room was nice, with a unique and modern design. It was spacious, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. As it was my birthday, the hotel prepared a lovely decoration, which was a very thoughtful touch. The only downside was the minibar fridge, which was not cold. Hopefully, this can be improved. Location The hotel is conveniently located near Nagoya Hill and BCS, only about a 10-minute Grab or Gojek ride away. Overall I would definitely stay here again, mainly because of the excellent service from the staff. While this is a 3-star hotel, the service provided by the team truly exceeded expectations.

Unique Room with Water Leaking AC, Faulty Bathroom Sliding Door and SALIVA Smelling Plus Lipstick Mark Bolster

Book room for 4 nights. Staying period 9-12 Nov 2025. Room No. 208. First night experience was terrible! After check-in, we drag our tiring body of long driving journey thinking can finally rest but only to find out air-con in our room leaks water. Two technicians came to fix the issue. Second problem arise when I wanted to take shower to wash away my tiredness only to find FAULTY bathroom sliding door. It was somehow stuck which the door seems almost collapse. Note that there is a big mirror attached on the door which makes it even dangerous. Again, two same technicians came to fix the problem. Third problem was HORROR!!! When I was about to sleep when hug the bolster it smells SALIVA!!! To add my horror when I switch on the light to check on bolster I found there’s a LIPSTICK MARK!!! This is totally UNACCEPTABLE!!! I didn’t take any picture because immediately I bring the bolster to receptionist & ask them to change the new & clean one for me asap! I requested for non-smoking room. Surprisingly on 2nd night my room got cigarette smoke smell for whole night. From the smell seems like come from room nearby. Upon checking-in, I felt unusual how come non-smoking room on 2nd floor? I double confirm with the receptionist whether my room is surely a non-smoking room and she told me yes. Then where’s those cigarette smoke smell come from? Several good things of this hotel are unique cargo design room, the security on-duty was friendly & helpful, the 2 technicians done pretty fast job for air-con & bathroom door, unfortunately the horror of bolster easily DESTROY all good things about this hotel. To add-on my terrible experience in this hotel; my room & lobby have mosquitos. This will be my first stay and the last.
