The Staff are warm and friendly. For a quiet getaway, Ibis Style Nagoya is the perfect place. It's situated away from the shopping and tourist area but conveniently located to Grab to the major shopping malls (between 5-10 mins away) from the hotel. I gave an average for Location for those who like staying near the main malls. My only complain would be the refrigerator, it's not even cold. Been staying there for 3 visits and seems all the rooms fridge are the same. Apart from this, the Hotel is recommended if you want a nice quiet stay.

Bad experience in Ibis Style Batam Nagoya

Overall is a bad experience. Housekeeping is not done thoroughly, there was a bunch of hair in the shower room, fridge not working, bed sheet have stains and black dirts, a chocolate cake was meant for another guest and requested housekeeping to take it away once we checked in, few hours went by, nobody remove it away after 2 following up calls to the reception. Left the cake outside and went out 11am next day, cake was still sitting right beside our door. Horrible service. Mosquito was in the room and i was bitten by mosquitoes after my shower and before my sleep. Twin bed was separated after housekeeping when we have requested them to join the bed and they have join the bed. Queen bed wasn't available is fine but separating the bed again after housekeeping is really a hassle again to call up housekeeping so we did ourselves. Replacing of refrigerator was so long, took about almost 2 hours to do it. I have never experience and expected this kind of bad service from a 3 star hotel. Oh lastly, asked them to vacuum the floor but they don have a vacuum, only mop so they mop the floor without entering into the shower with a bunch of hairs, so we end up clearing the hair ourselves using the shower head-.-

The room was cozy and spacious, and I appreciated the cleanliness of both the room and bathroom. While the breakfast buffet was decent, it could be improved with a wider selection. Overall, a solid choice for the price, but not without some minor flaws.

A Stylish Hotel Marred by Service Issues

My husband and I spent one night at this hotel in May. The room was undeniably stylish, and the bed was very comfortable. However, our stay was disrupted by a faulty air conditioning unit that would turn on and off every 10 minutes without effectively cooling the room. We reported this to reception, and an engineering technician was sent to address the issue. He claimed the AC was working and that he would monitor the central system to ensure it functioned properly. Yet, the AC turned off again just 10 minutes later. We reported the problem to reception once more and requested a room change. The receptionist asked us to wait while they investigated the central AC, but we insisted on a room change, doubting a swift resolution. After some persistence, we were finally moved to a new room, allowing us to get the rest we needed before our early morning flight. The receptionist, in particular, could benefit from more warmth and attentiveness. As hospitality professionals, we should always acknowledge guests promptly. Unfortunately, she seemed too engrossed in her work to greet us properly. Our experience at the Fullmoon restaurant was mixed. The staff were friendly, but no one came to check on our meal. In fact, our plates sat untouched for an hour after we finished eating, forcing us to stack them on a nearby bench to clear the table ourselves. The next morning, I called housekeeping to request an iron. After waiting 15 minutes, I followed up on my request. Despite this, we didn't receive the iron until we were already leaving the room - a full 45 minutes after the initial request. This hotel has potential with its modern rooms, but service issues need to be addressed for guests to feel truly welcome and cared for.

VERY TERRIBLE FIRST EXPERIENCE

This is my first time stay at Ibis Styles Hotel and was so terrible. I come with my husband for our businnes trip and before come to hotel I have been call hotel to ensure room available with king size and dealing for price. We arrived at hotel around 01.30 am and feel tired . My husband doing registration and guess what happen ? Reception told that we can not pay by credit card or debot card , only cash . Oh God , this is 2024 come on , I don't know why but I'm hotelier also , I work at International Chain Hotel but this is my first time that can not pay by card cause reception still didn't doing running system . It's very terrible cause my husband need to reach out ATM Center to get a cash and I must wait in the lobby without any good gesture from reception. Entering room 351 , I can not imagine I found hair side of wash basin when I want to wash my hand and kettle was very dirty I can not make a hot water with that condition . When I take a shower , oh gosh I found 1 of bath towel is not properly to set up I have plan to stay 2 night . I hope there is magic can change my mood to stay longer Please if you have Duty Manager , I really talk to him/her Thank you Devi
