Good customer service from the front office staffs. Perhaps the hotel should provide a soap in the faucet towash hands. The Suite room was not that good compared the one I stayed before. The breakfast was quite okay.

Noisy rooms

I have the suit room but facing the main road. It is so noisy even after 11pm. We can't sleep and end up have to switch room in the middle of the night. Management please consider to double glazed or sound proof glass door , especially for the rooms facing the main road.

This hotel has a good design (styles) just like the name Ibis Styles. The room quiet big and complete with sofa and big screen television. I really enjoy the room and very comfort. The location also very strategic and close to the Harbor if you want to go to Singapore.

Poor traveling experience

Upon check in. We being informed there is no Twin bed as our reservation is confirmed as twin bed room. As they mentioned they are fully book twin bed room. That was surprise me how could it be done as my reservation still can go through. We wait up about half hour for them to resolve the issue. After we enter the room. The room was not throughly cleaned as we can see the hair and dust on the floor. The slipper was used by previous guest and didn’t changed. The bed linen have blood stain and damaged, towels are very dirty and damaged as well. Requested to change but waited up more then 25 mins. Requesting for the utensils wait up than 40mins.

Spacy room in affordable price

I didn’t expect to have a spacious room for that affordable price. The breakfast is good. The staffs are very welcoming. I suggest to have more various vanity set, such as hand cream or body lotion as a standard vanity set.

Location is good, near to major malls. Quiet at night, ideal for enjoying a calm and pleasant evening. Check-in/ out were smooth and quick, friendly and helpful crews. Breakfast tasty, ala carte menu in good quality for reasonable price. Room is spacious, comfortable, clean and well maintained, thumb up for the housekeeping team and maintenance team. Don't miss the rooftop bar, nice view, good music (live).

This is my 3rd stay in this hotel and also the first time where the first room(710) allocated to me without any issue. My last few stay always need to change 2nd time due to various issues in the room. This time round my stay in this hotel is good, Sandy was the receptionist who try his best to get a room for me asap since I arrived quite early, really appreciated. House keeping staffs(Rizky & Hamri) & those staffs in the restaurant are friendly and doing a good job during my stay in this hotel. Hopefully my next 2 stay in this hotel are as good as of this time round since i've another 2 reservation in Oct & Dec. I think the hotel manager who response to the review should list down their email here in order for the guest to feed back the issue directly instead of keep apologizing here, but in actual fact nothing was done. I'm the Accor Plus members and sorry to say that I don't think the feed back or request to the reservation team will work! allocated to me without any issue.

Room quality is good. To improve on staff manning at reception, heavy check-in in the evening but only one staff handling both FITs and Crew group check-in. To improve menu items in Sphere. Breakfast spread and standard was not up to standard compared to my last trip.

Questionable Hygiene Standard

We first reached the hotel around noon but was told to return at 2pm, which is the official check in time. We returned shortly after 2pm, and was informed that the room is still not ready and we have to wait for another hour as the housekeeping is still tidying up the room. We finally got our room after 3pm, which is way past the official check in time. You would have expected a clean room with a complete set of amenities, since the housekeeping did spend a lot of time preparing the room. But no, the whole place is extremely dirty. You can feel the dirt on the floor when walking. The toilet bowl is smelly with stains on it. The bedsheets, cushions, towels have stains on it as well. Towels are missing in the room. We paid for a family suite which is for 3 pax, but only received amenities meant for 2 pax. They really need to buck up on their hygiene standard.

Fours Star Hotel with Five Star Service

I am often confused by the star rating for hotels. I have been been in "4-star" hotels that I would be loathed to even award a single star.That is why I am very please by this "3-star" hotel, which, in my opinion, deserves another star.While there are no shopping centers in the immediate vicinity, there is a shuttle service (10mins) to the Nagoya Shopping Center. And the BCS shopping center is only 25kRp to 30kRp taxi ride away.The hotel is bright, colorful and cheery. The rooms are comfortable in size, clean and puts you at ease. I especially like the bed, pillows and bolsters. Super comfortable. Even more so than other 4 and 5 star hotels on the island.The staff is full 5 stars! I cannot imagine a more helpful, friendly and cheery set of people! Again, I get better service here than in 4 and 5 star hotels in Batam. The restaurant is reasonably priced and the food is generally good.I fully recommend your stay here.Here are my list for minor improvements: 1. The shuttle service should go to BCS as well as Nagoya. While Nagoya is more well know, I think BCS is a much better place for tourists, with a great shopping center, A2 food court and the wet market.2. The TV channels just changed to digital. While the images are sharp and clear, and there are many Chinese channels, I really miss lifestyle channels on food and travel, American TV like Star.3. Breakfast is mostly good. However, when it gets crowded, the staff seem overwhelmed and you will have to wait in line for eggs and other foods. For days with large number of bookings, alternative arrangements should be made for key items like coffee/tea, eggs and buffet spread.

Very spacious balcony and nice night view from the 8th floor family suite. Even though it is a bit noisy from the traffic from the road in front of the hotel we enjoyed sitting and watching the view while chatting. Provided chairs for the balcony are also very comfortable. Overall it was a very satisfying weekend for us.

A quiet place for holiday and the reception service is well served. There are few stalls around the hotel where you can look out for supper and a top roof bar named The Sphere to chill the night view of Batam.

The hotel staff are friendly and helpful make we feel welcome. The kids pool and playground was amazing. The room is fantastic and clean. The hotel also provides free one way to Nagoya mall shuttle. Wifi is free and good. The Spa is awesome.

One of the best hotel in batam! The staff are very friendly. Wide variety and choice for morning breakfast. Swimming pool and surrounding is clean. Room are well maintained and cosy. A staff by the name of Monica provide good customer service and always put on a smile to all hotel guest. Very homecoming!

I am quite impressed with the exterior and also the building as I love colors and indeed Ibis Styles provide that vibrant and exciting colors. I stayed in L6 for a night, I love how they have even designed the flooring with words and full of colors even in the comfort of the room itself. The reservation team had done a good job by fulfilling all my request of having rooms further away from lobby, high floors and stuffs. Another kudos point is that, THE BED WAS SOOOO COMFORTABLE!!! Above all, the bedroom was well made up, could see that the housekeeping have made lots of effort in that. What really turn me off was the staffs and the table setting at the restaurant. Firstly, not sure whose idea was it to put ALL tables together that forms more than 10 pax seats rows of tables and thinking that guests would make that effort to shift themselves to the middle. As if that was their most brillant idea that they could come up with in the setting. This have left many available tables with no takers. Secondly, the staffs were really passive. I have no idea what the hell they are doing standing around instead of clearing the tables at the restaurant after guests have left the table. The waitress were close to doing nothing, and i even need to spent at least waving for 1 minute before anyone see me asking for help. They should be train with more initiative, because the company simply didn't hire them to be a furniture.
