Love staying at this hotel, good location and very nice ambience as well. The room is spacious, clean and well scented. More success for the hotel and team, will surely return to stay for the future trip.

Noisy, warm, bad breakfast selection, not ideal location

1. If you are staying at room 802, be prepared for a noisy night as it is located beside the road and the traffic doesn’t subside till 2am. Bad noise insulation. Room condition was not ideal - sofa was broken, TV not working and a bad smell emit from the bathroom (occasionally). 2. Air con was warm (ambient temperature was set at 27.5 degrees). Informed room service personnel who said will convey the message to the technical team. After a while, we followed up with a call to the front desk but no one picked up the phone (around 10.20pm). Technicians never came. Hotel was full and we had to spend the night using our own handheld portable fans to cool ourselves down. 3. Location was not ideal - had to take a taxi to wherever we wish to go as there are not much food options in the vicinity of the hotel. 4. Breakfast had bad selection and was not replenished on time. The egg section was chaotic, which resulted in the cook splitting one portion of egg into four. Coffee/tea section was bad - lack of cups and we could not differentiate between clean and dirty cups. Overall experience was bad and we would not recommend anyone to stay there till they improve.

GOOD LOCATION BUT STAY IS AVERAGE

Went for a short 2 nights stay in this new hotel. The room is spacious but the room design can be better plan as there are some space wastage. They can have a separate bar counter instead together with the water basin area at the bathroom. The mini fridge is not working & the there is water leakage coming out from the safe deposit box at the closet area. The breakfast buffet is not fantatstic & most of the food & coffee / tea are finished by 9:30am. So do go early to have more choice as they do not refill after 9:30am. The food taste is average. The restaurant staffs are not in their highest spirit when serving the hotel guests. The swimming pool is in decent size but no one is really swimming there as maybe facing the restaurant. The tree leaves are dropping into the pool & I did not see any maintenance or cleaning of the pool every morning. Overall the location is near to the Harbour Bay ferry terminal & Nagoya Hill shopping areas & massage salons. The housekeeping is good & clean so this is the only good point that the hotel should continue to keep it up. There is another restaurant named Fullmoon Fusion Bar inside the hotel located at the other end on the 9th floor. It is not under Accor management, hence there will be no discount if you dine there. Overall, it is an average stay here.
