I must admit that I usually do not like ibis/Mercure kind of hotels, because there is nothing in the room, no tea/coffee making facilities, no fridge, nothing and just the same kind of rooms everywhere. In that sense, this ibis in Skopje was different, they offered tea/coffee making facilities and it was more like a real hotel. I also greatly appreciated the honest pricing, as they did not apply ridiculously different prices between non-refundable and flexible reservations. I got decent offer with flexible booking.

The hotel is perfectly located for the Skopje marathon or even just for sightseeing. Just minutes away from the square and the start/finish line of the race. The room was quiet, the bed comfortable, I had everything in the room I needed, apart from a fridge. The room was very warm and the AC did not seem to work well. The breakfast was ok though there was not much choice of hot items.

Good hotel. Good location. Good staff. The receptionist who aranged for me a transfert, was very profesionnal and friendly. I don't know his name (he has glasses), but congratulations, he is a very good receptionist.

Ok for a business trip

It was nice staying there for a couple of nights. The Hotel is in a good position to have a walk in Macedonia Square and in the nearby streets. The rooms are functional and the beds are comfortable. I Found the muffins served for breakfast very good but the coffee is simply undrinkable (expecially for an italian) Going to the hotel's bar and ask for an espresso will be the wiser choice. Not all the guys working at the reception are at the same level of kindness and professionality
