Sofitel never disappoints. The grounds were beautiful and consistent with the local architecture, the service, impeccable, and the rooms luxurious. Luang Prabang is a delightful town with much history and certainly more slower paced than other SEAsian cities. There was much to do here and the town was very walkable. The service was professional and discreet and the Lao massage was superb. I recommend the Sofitel very highly.

Beautiful property/hotel, you will see all the dedication the workers put into managing the grounds. As soon as you pull up to the property my husband and I were very pleased with our decision to stay at Sofitel. We had a spacious room with large bathroom and soaking tub, with our own private pool and huge patio space. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The breakfast spread was perfect, had everything you wanted. But to the more important part the STAFF made our stay unforgettable. They were very attentive and polite and all had beautiful smiles. We were taken very good care of during breakfast & dinner. I hope management continues to take care of these workers because they are dedicated to helping your guest during their stay. The staff will be the reason we return to Sofitel.

We are a family of 4 and took two rooms at the Sofitel over the Xmas period. Sofitel was the perfect hotel for us. The location is walkable/bicycle ride from town, not too close but not too far. We love the pool (although it was a tad cold to linger too long in the water), the elegant courtyard, the open air bathtub in the private garden. My daughter was entertained by the rabbits and the shoulder massage at breakfast was such a nice touch. The service was top notch, from the reception helping us book tours (boat tour, private transfer to the waterfall) and restaurants to the service at breakfast. I felt that all the associates put their heart in their job to make service seemless and our stay the most comfortable that can be. We had dinner at the 3 Nagas one evening and the service there was also very good. Everything made our stay in Luang Prabang even more enjoyable. Thank you very much to Andrew (GM) and his team! Would highly recommend the Sofitel in Luang Prabang.
