Fabulous stay

We stayed for 3 nights and booked 2 rooms. The hotel is a heritage property and truly wonderful. It has a perfect location on the one and only street in Luang Prabang that has everything one needs to visit during the stay (temples, markets, morning alms). It was so convenient to just sit in the corridor outside our rooms and watch the alms ceremony in comfort! The staff are all wonderful. Special thanks to Mr Mandal from F&B and Sarah from front desk. The guests also can use the pool and spa at Sofitel. The spa treatments are very good and they provide complimentary shuttles to Sofitel all day. The Sofitel itself is a standout property though a bit away from the main sights. The staff at the restaurant ensured we had complimentary hot coffee, juices and hot chocolate each morning. The happy hour every evening from 3-6 pm is great value. Overall this is probably the best place to stay in Luang Prabang which has the best mix of convenience, service, heritage.

No words could fully express how delighted my husband and I were with the service experienced at 3 Nagas! The staff (especially Linda, Asu, Xor, Toulee, Nouy and many others whom we did not get their names) were superb, making our stay at Luang Prabang a very enjoyable one. They were very attentive to our requests, friendly, always ready to assist or offer suggestions. This is a UNESCO site so it’s great to be able to experience and immerse in the history behind the location - staying in the facility where it used to house some of the King’s family & eating the same ice cream that was once served to the King! We celebrated Christmas here and the food was great with impeccable service too. Location is excellent, walking distance to most POI. For those who come to experience the alm giving ceremony, this happens every morning right in front of the hotel! Will highly recommend anyone to stay at 3 Nagas if you decide to visit Luang Prabang. Thank you to the staff and management team at 3 Nagas Luang Prabang for the great stay!

We had a beautiful room at 3 Nagas for four nights. Location is very convenient. This is an old building that has been restored so you will hear other guests but it was worth it. Really appreciated the very kind staff who took great care of us and helped make our stay perfect. - John & Arthur

Central, yet a little noisy

The hotel is situated on both sides of the main road of Luang Prabang and is thus very central. Due to the alms ceremony, which takes place directly in the street in the very early morning, and all the traffic, it isn’t the quietest street for restful sleep. The hotel staff was friendly and professional. The service staff in the restaurant and bar was always friendly. The room was large and clean and suited our needs. The breakfast was served à la carte and was always more than enough and delicious. The hotel organised our airport transfers and our trip to the waterfalls with care. Despite the friendliness of the staff, we would choose a quieter location next time. On our arrival in the evening, we were able to pre-order something from the bar menu as it was too late for the restaurant. Be aware, that the  “fish and chips” on the bar menu were actually fish and potato crisps . We were rather surprised.
