Novotel Chennai Chamiers Road - A Gem in the City We visited this place for our 10 th year wedding anniversary Novotel Chennai Chamiers Road is an exceptional hotel that perfectly blends modern luxury with traditional charm. Located conveniently in the heart of Chennai, this property stands out for its superior hospitality, chic design, and a wide array of amenities. Highlights: 1. Dining: The on-site restaurants are a treat for food lovers. From local South Indian delicacies to international cuisines, the variety and quality are impressive. The breakfast buffet is particularly noteworthy, offering a wide range of options. 2. Service: The staff is incredibly courteous and attentive, ensuring guests feel welcome and cared for. Their quick responses and attention to detail elevate the experience. Special shout out for Mr.Jitu who helped us with food, his service was top notch and he served us with a smile which is very important for the service industry

Stayed at Novotel chamiers Chennai during 2024 Christmas, this property is amazing located in the heart of city. Great for family and business alike with great ambience at the restaurent which serves breakfast and dinner. Special thanks Jitu for amazing hospitality and hearty thanks Loknath for making this stay home away from home.

Relied on the brand name and the reviews and ended up booking the hotel for a 4 night stay. Am writing this review as I continue to stay here. Pros: Good central location Quick and easy checkin, polite staff both at the front office and the restaurant. Paid attention to my request for a quiet room and I was given a corner room. Cons: Stained upholstery on the lounger in the room. The electric kettle in the room is broken with no attempt to replace/repair it. The call bell has been non functional with no intention to repair it. The room does not have something as basic as a shoe shine and can be ordered on request. No hand towels, when requested was given two and when they got used in two days, there was no attempt to replace them with newer ones. The internet did not work except the day on the checkin. When asked later they asked me to switch from using the room number to some other number. The bottle holder in the bathroom is broken and no attempt to repair/replace them. The taste of the food is average to below average. There is nothing to write about food but is not value for money at that cost. Requesting for Roti etc in a buffet can lead to a 10 minute wait in a sparsely occupied restaurant. You can continue to struggle to find a dessert spoon for minutes. Entered the restaurant at 10:55PM and saw a few guests eating. I requested for a-la-carte and was discouraged by the staff that they were closing at 11:00PM and that I should consider ordering room service. They promised me that the food would be delivered promptly. When I reached the room and ordered for room service, I was given very few options to choose from. I settled for a veg biryani which was promised to be ready in about 25 minutes. I had to wait a good 40 minutes and call only after which the biryani arrived. At 880 bucks for a veg biryani, it did not do justice with the taste. I was requesting to place an order for a dessert alongside the biryani but was hurriedly told off by the staff on the phone that I could order that later since they had a lot of dessert for later. My experience at Hyderabad Novotel has been pretty good/reasonable. However, this experience has ensured that there is no looking back at Novotel in the future.
