I often stay at Ibis in various parts of the country and find a little comfort in their uniformity. But the service level at each hotel does differ. The Ibis on OMR Chennai was a pleasant surprise. The bit of green they have on the outside with a hammock is really a pleasant surprise in a city hotel. I was welcomed with chocolates in the room, which was a wonderful touch in a budget business hotel. This Ibis has a proper bathroom, not the usual capsule type bathrooms that are in most Ibis and the room also seemed to be a bit more spacious. Another plus is that you have the option to pay and use the Novotel pool. Area outside the hotel is very dusty due to ongoing road works at present and there isn't much of interest within walking distance but there is a super market just next door.

Its perfect stay for mid range budget with best facilities. Breakfast is good. Main course needs improved. But ita best in location. Thanks to chef Ramesh anffront office crew.

Had a wonderful stay with the Ibis hotel. The staff were courteous and helpful with documentation and local help. The chef had nice customisation and a special shoutout to Lalitha, sheeban and Swapnanil mondal from front desk.
