This hotel was convenient when traveling on the auto route. It has an easy off and on entrance and is located amid several other hotels and franchised restaurants. The hotel is clean, functional but just basic. The same can be said for the breakfast. The freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious but there was no yogurt offered. There are NO elevators for the second floor, so if stairs are a problem request the ground level. There is a bar with snacks available. Several restaurants are within walking distance, but with the amount of traffic and cars parked on both sides of the road it could be dangerous. There was little noise at night, so sleeping was fine.

Just stopped at the Ibis Styles Chartres for a drink prior to our evening meal after a long drive from Coquelle, as French wine is well known or supposed to be the best in the world. I was surprised to hear from the barman, we do not have any wine for sale only beer, I believe this is the first time in France I have come across a bar, especially in a Hotel that does not sell beer.

Staff were Friendly - Comfy Bed - Air Con Easy to Operate and Very Quiet - Small Room - Spotlight Lighting not suitable for Room Type 🙁 - Breakfast was very Poor for 11€ we expected Freshly Baked Pastries at least (not mass produced packet type) whole visual appearance Not Good - Large Filled Bowls of Produce instead of Individual Servings (this was obviously due to Cost Cutting not Eco Saving) - No Fruit Yogurts - Variety was very Poor - we would have had nicer breakfast from nearby Aldi - Bare Metal Seating just topped it!! 👎

Stayed here before. Was just what I wanted just one night on the way to SW France. No problem with that stay. In fact it was very good. This time we were given f Room 12 in spite of asking for a room at the back , which it wasn’t!. However not worth a complaint - but- no hot water & at the very perimeter of WiFi - like - useless even for FB. We let the hot water run for 15mins it eventually was warm enough. This is not good enough Ibis !!!

We spent one night here on our way back to St. Malo. This hotel was perfectly acceptable for what we needed. They are refurbishing rooms and our room had new carpeting, newly painted walls, new counter top in the bathroom, excellent beds and lovely linens. We appreciated the shower cabin/stall as it's much easier to get in and out of than a high bathtub. There was plenty of room for our luggage, plenty of outlets for phones, etc. and room for our cat's litter box, food and water dish. Our room faced the back of the property and looked our over a green space containing children's playground items and outdoor furniture. It was very quiet. We appreciated the complimentary breakfast, parking and wifi. All of the staff were very welcoming and polite. There's no elevator here, but the staff offered to carry our luggage, which wasn't needed.
