It is potentially a good hotel with good rooms at good prices (and has been very good in the past); this was my third visit to the hotel and it, sadly, seems to be suffering from a severe staff shortage. Lengthy queues at check in taking 30 minutes or more to get to the front - there was capacity for three people to “man” the desk but only one did so and there was no concierge available to help people store or retrieve their bags so these people joined the queue for the attention of the sole member of staff on duty. The same happened at checkout the following day - huge queues. The hotel asks you to check in online before arrival but that's pointless if you still need to wait over 30 minutes to finalise check in and get the room key. Breakfast quality was ok but I'd hope for a less dismal and fuggy room to eat in.

Had a wonderful and blissful stay in Mercure stevens. Excellent timely services and very helpful & hardworking staff. Suren,Deepika, Gopi & Tiana were so helpful in getting things done very smoothly and swiftly. Rani in the restaurant also very quick in arranging a table for breakfast. Special thanks to cleaning staff keeping our room clean all time. On a whole I highly appreciate the hotel management and hierarchy for the great hospitality. Thank you so much and would love to visit again in future !!
