A very handy hotel near the airport. Convenient with shops and restaurants nearby. Though you can walk [rough terrain over main roads] take the shuttle bus. Very convenient and only a 5-minute trip.

Decent for its location with an free airport shuttle (only to and from Terminals 1 and 2, those flying through terminal 3 need to get a grab or taxi to get to the hotel), but the hotel is subpar with very small rooms. Disposable slippers seem re-used as it wasn’t packaged. Only good for a short overnight stay if you have an early flight.

Regarding transportation, we would like to clarify that our complimentary shuttle bus service is currently available to and from Terminals 1 and 2 only. At this time, Terminal 3 is not yet included in our shuttle route, and guests traveling via Terminal 3 may need to use a taxi or ride-hailing service. Concerning the room experience, maintaining the spirit of the ibis brand worldwide, we provide standard yet comfortable rooms designed with efficiency and practicality in mind. A key highlight is our signature Sweet Bed by ibis, which has been carefully developed to ensure a pleasant and restful sleep. Staff were exceptional, attentive and great communicators. We were booked in for just one night pre flight back home to Brisbane after 14 day trip, but at 4am my partner had an epileptic seizure The staff called an ambulance and we were taken to the hospital within 30 minutes, he had 2 more seizures in hospital I cannot praise the Manager and staff enough, they have been my godsend, they now feel like my vietnamese family. From extending my stay, ensuring I had food, arranging my taxis to and from the hospital daily, the hospital has no pillows, towels, cutlery or bedding for me to stay with him in hospital the hotel arranged for this for me. Ibis Saigon Airport You deserve 10 gold stars from me.

Great location from International terminal & practical hotel

Well located just close from international terminal. It was ideal for a night between international flights. If you want to stay for the city, it might not be the best option due to trafic jams on the way to/from downtown. The breakfast is amazing for Ibis hotel, never just rich choice on any other similar Hotel. There is a Starbucks in the lobby for small bites during the day. Staff has been friendly. To organize pickup from the airport, you should coordinate in advance with the Hotel, so they can send someone for you. Departure from Hotel to airport are usually at .00 & .30 with arrangement at the reception desk.

Good location - no shuttle to t3 and no upgrades for platinum

This hotel is a cut above the average Ibis. Don’t expect luxury but if you want a clean hotel near the airport this is your go. Starbucks in the lobby, restaurants and atm nearby. Super convenient. My issue with this airport hotel is that the shuttle bus does not serve terminal 3. I stayed at this hotel twice on my Vietnam trip and all my Vietnam domestic flights were at terminal 3. This is a huge miss which defies logic. My other issue is that I’m platinum elite and both times I stayed there I was not offered an upgrade they never explained the free welcome drinks and just treated me like any other regular Joe. So if you want a bigger room, pay for it. They will not award loyalty. Otherwise this is the hotel to stay at near the airport.
