Very friendly staff, clean room and excellent breakfast. Tien and Ho was very nice and helpful. The woman at the pool was very kind.

A Hop & Skip from District 1

We decided to give this Hotel in Saigon a try. We were both delighted and somewhat disappointed. We were delighted that the hotel’s location isn’t too far from the main attractions located within District 1. There is a GS25 (24-hr convenience store) situated right opposite of the hotel. It is also not far from the pink cathedral and some pretty good local eateries. All within walking distance. We were delighted that our Executive Suite is clean and spacious. However, the couch in the living area is far from comfortable. We were delighted that our room is equipped with Smart TVs and we were able to connect to our Netflix account easily. We were disappointed during the check-in process. I have had to wait for some time to be registered, despite being a Gold Accor Plus member. Fortunately, a staff came from the back-end to help me with the registration. Upon noticing that I have priority check-in, she ushered me to Level 19 to perform the rest of the formalities. Level 19 is also where the hotel’s executive lounge is located. As I had to wait a little for my room to be cleaned, I did so in the executive lounge. There should be a way for Accor hotels to be able to identify guests with priority check-in. When the key cards were handed to me, I was disappointed to find out that they did not give me a room on the executive floors (i.e. Level 15 to 20). But since we were going to be there only for two nights, and that our room was on Level 14, we decided to not make an issue. We were also disappointed during breakfast. Breakfast is served from 6.00 am to 10.30 am. On the first visit, we were at the cafe around 9.00 am. We noticed that only very limited quantities of Dim Sum were made available in the steamer at any one time. On the second visit, we were at the cafe around 8.30 am. The watermelon juice had ran out and was not replenished. The dim sum or whatever was in the steamer were no more and not replenished. It was a lack luster breakfast for a brand of hotel in Vietnam under the Accor group. 2 other hotels under the same group which we had stayed before and are regulars, served way better breakfast spreads. We may return in some future time to give the hotel another chance because we believe they are able to do better. I would still recommend the hotel to friends because of its location. Kindly consider our feedback and hope improvements are noticeable when we return.
