Das Mercure Riga Centre liegt rund 5 Fußminuten vom Bahnhof und 15 Minuten zur Stadt. So lässt sich schnell das Herz der Weltkulturerbe-Stadt erreichen. Auch die Markthallen sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Mit der Straßenbahn kommt man ins Jugendstilviertel. Der direkt neben dem Hotel befindlich Bahnhof eröffnet einem schnelle Wege nach Jurmala oder in den Nationalpark nach Sigulda und Cesis. Das Hotel selbst ist praktisch eingerichtet, ein Zimmer nach hinten aber wegen der großen Straße vorn unbedingt zu empfehlen. Der Frühstücksraum wirkt etwas kalt und hallt. Das Frühstück selbst ist aber sehr gut.

Das Zimmer und die Sauberkeit waren gut. Die Minibar war bei Anreise leer. Die Freundlichkeit bei der Abreise war so lala.

Gute Lage nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß vom Hauptbahnhof, dem Flughafenbus und der Altstadt. Mein Zimmer war nicht sehr groß, aber für eine Person ausreichend, das Bad ebenfalls. Alles sauber, das Bett bequem. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet.

Vorababbuchung von 50 € für für Minibar. Bisher keine Rückerstattung bei Nichtbenutzumg. Das ganze Haus in betagtem Zustand. Insbesondere das Bad. Restaurant geschlossen. Parken vor Hotel gebührenpflichtig. Unzureichende Information bei Buchung. Falsche Hausnummer in Vorabbeschreibung. Besser: Hotelnamen im Navi eingeben anstatt Adresse....
