ibis Styles Lille Centre Grand-Place 호텔 3성

The IBIS Styles Lille Grand Place is one of the many IBIS places in Lille. It's in the heart of the city, just a few steps away from the Lille opera house. The rooms are small, very small even, but nicely decorated and functional. Spotlessly clean as well. Breakfast is good and the breakfast room is pleasant.

First of all I am going to praise Gladys, who was so friendly at check-in and then helped me enthusiastically to plan my 24 hours in Lille as well as a perfect restaurant recommendation. She is a credit to the Ibis chain. My room was fine - slightly warm (no A/C) and a few mosquitoes whizzing around (no bites thankfully), and the doors slam which echo throughout the night...maybe look at installing slow door shutting mechanisms!!? The breakfast was perfect and the hotel is only a few minutes from the main square and a 20 minute walk from the station. Overall a perfect budget option in the heart of the city.

The Ibis Styles Hotel in Lille is centrally located with easy access on foot for both Lille Flandres and Lille Europe railway stations and the metro. The quality of service was excellent as you would expect, and as usual internet and breakfast are included in the basic price, making it good value for money. The rooms however are rather small. That's perfectly all right for a one night business trip, when you use the room only for sleeping, but if it had been a longer stay or a holiday I would have liked more space.

Tucked away in a corner in a quiet but central part of town, this nice little hotel. Small rooms but quite adequate and nice to be in centre of town. About 5 minutes walk to Flandres and a little further to Lille Europe for Eurostar

The room was perfectly clean, everything brand new, helpful staff, tea and coffee free of charge whenever you want. My only complaint was the lack of drawers, shelves and surfaces in the room, apart from a narrow closet and a small table for the computer. This would be OK if you only stayed a night, but for a longer stay I would have liked somewhere to keep my clothes and conference documents.

Centrally placed opposite a substantial multi-story car park. Very clean and funkily furnished. Fully carpeted which is an advantage against noise disturbance of other customers. Rooms particularly on the back and upper floors are very quiet. Rooms and facilities do not live up to those found in other Ibis styles elsewhere in Europe. The bedrooms are exceptionally small, even by French standards and unfortunately the large, but very comfortable beds, exacerbate this situation. It is impossible for two people to be in the same part of the room unless one of the is in the bed. Even passing down the spaces at either side of the bed is difficult if one is sitting on it with feet on the floor at that side. The arrangement of a table-tray over the bed takes up in even more of the circulation space. The shower cubicle, with wc is good, but you pay for this by having the washbasin in the room taking up more of the limited space. Hygienically it also means hand washing involves using the handles of the separating door before you are able to do so. Breakfast space is limited and very snack-bar like, more fitting for an Ibis budget, which this example of a 'Styles' more closely resembles, than what is marketed as the 'Flag-sip' of the Ibis family. 'Extras' such as tissues, hygiene sacks, note-pads etc are either in short supply or missing. House-keeping other than on the cleaning front, could be better managed. The staff though pleasant enough were not as organised and well-informed as the general run of Accor personnel and volunteered no information without being asked. What happened to the upwardly mobile siting of Styles in the Accor chain? The standard seems to have slipped judging by the last two 'Styles' visited. Adequate for an overnight, trying for any longer period.

This new or newly renovated hotel has an excellent location. Just a 10 minutes walk from the Lille Europe trainstation and 2 minutes from the main square in the old town - the most beautiful part of the city. The interior decoration thorughout the hotel is modern and colorful. The staff is young, friendly and helpful. The rooms are rather small but cleverly designed, so overall quite comfy. The rooms on the top floor (7th) can get very hot during the summer as there's no airconditioning. Don't think of leaving the windows open though, the mosquitos will eat you alive. Reception provides mosquito repellant though :-) We were very satysfied with this hotel. They offer excellent value for a room with free wifi and breakfast included.

This is a recently opened hotel in centre of Lille. The décor is quirky and the rooms minimalist.... however, very comfortable...... the lift is very small and the rooms layouts are just a little different.... The check in was friendly and quick... the staff were helpful when we asked for recommendations etc... The hotel is very clean and the bathrooms very functional with good showers..... The breakfast was wonderful with lots of fresh fruit, pastries, croissants yogurts, etc etc....... all were really delicious, I tried them all........ I would definitely stay there again....

Recently refurbished with modern functional decor this met our needs well. Room was clean, staff helpful and bed very comfortable. Ideal location for an overnight stop when changing from Eurostar to TGV and avoiding Paris interchange. Some good restaurants nearby. Avoid ground floor room if not getting up early.
