Despite the challenging time the hotel is open and running. Kudos to all the employees! It's very handy to have a restaurant in house. Not only for the spectacular breakfast but also to have a bite to eat when everything around there is closed.

Beautiful boutique hotel in an old Art Deco building, perfectly located in the center of Paris, close to the Opéra and Place de la Concorde. Nicely decorated rooms in art deco style, comfortable bed, Clarins cosmetics, good quality breakfast. Nice staff and correct hotel management, thank you very much to the whole hotel team, we will come again!

I stayed at L'Echiquier for about a week in these very special circumstances and it felt like home. They're being very careful to follow all the social distanciation rules and I have to say it's very convenient to have a bar/restaurant in house while there is a curfew in place.

Very comfortable hotel next to restaurants, bars and shops. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had a complaint about an used (and dirty) pillow left in my room on the day of my arrival. It got changed right away. Breakfast was really really good. I would definitely stay here again

The Hotel LEchiquier Opera Paris is a very nice and beautiful hotel in a central location close to Montmartre, Louvre, Galleries Lafayette and Garnier Opera. It is very clean and quiet, and staff is very friendly. The rooms are very clean and comfy, and have fridge and kettle. The bathroom’s toiletries are all top range from Clarins that makes you feel very special! We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, but had dinner and room service and food was great! They beautifully decorated the hotel for Christmas and had a live singer and piano player on New Year Day - felt like a perfect first day of the year. A tourist tip - the hotel has a great authentic Parisian bakery nearby called Julhes for croissants and baguettes - highly recommend to try their different pastry and cakes.

We were really pleased to have stayed at this hotel. We felt welcomed and well taken cared of from the moment we checked-in. All the staffs were very polite and helpful with our concerns. The room that we had was very spacious and complete with everything we needed. Thank you so much for giving us an upgrade. The hotel is surrounded with several restaurants and we ate at a few of them and were very pleased overall. The breakfast buffet at the hotel was amazing and the design and layout of this area is very elegant. We really liked it. We would not hesitate to stay here again on our next trip to Paris.

Consistency with staff attention, friendliness and excellent service. My only wish for change would be the beds. Too soft for someone with chronic back pains. Room with the balcony is amazing! Thank you.

As per the title above - hotel meets most selection criteria for both business & leisure travel to Paris (in this budget category). Room size is average, but that is not different from most hotels in Paris.

I am an Accor Platinum member. We had pre-booked 2 separate stays In Hotel L'Echiquier Opera Paris prior to departing Australia, a 1 night & a 3 night stay. For convenience we had breakfast in the hotel for the overnight staying under the assumption it was a free breakfast as is the case for Platinum members in Australia & Asia. Upon checking out I was surprised it wasn't free & didn't receive a friendly or informative response even though I was happy to pay for it. Upon returning for our second stay we found ourselves in the most furthest away room in a terrible position & the staff made a point of telling us on check-in that it wasn't a free breakfast. They made us feel unwelcomed & we really regretted staying there even though. The customer service was terrible and has made me question my loyalty to the Accor group. It was about the reception we received from the staff and the fact we felt like we were shoved out the back to teach us a lesson. I will not recommend this hotel as customer service should be the highest priority as that is what always brings return travellers. Its a shame.

Although we have announced that we will arrive around 13 o'clock, upon arrival the room was not ready. At my insistence I received room 517, a room with a much smaller surface. I refused room 517 and received, after 3 pm, an appropriate room, 417. Breakfast is very limited, poor; only one sort of eggs, 3 sorts of salami and 3 sorts oh cheese. And I asked for champagne / prosecco, I got the menu from the bar, where a glass of champagne costs 15 euros. A few days before I stayed at Mercure Montparnasse, where breakfast was much better! This is not the standard MGallery!

I love this hotel and this was my 4th visit there. The rooms are well thought out, beautifully clean and very practical. The staff are efficient and very friendly. The dining room is a work of art and the food is delicious. The position of the hotel is very convenient for Gare du Nord, as it is easy walking distance. I can easily walk from the hotel down to the centre of Paris and all the well known landmarks there. There are 3 Metro stations within a few minutes walk of the hotel if they are needed. There is even a Post Office around the corner.

The hotel was wonderful. It was centrally located to all the sites we want to see, and if they were further the metro was very easy to access. The staff was exceptional, always willing to assist and help with any Paris questions.

This hotel is in great condition and has a Parisian feel everywhere. It is in walking distance to the Louvre and Notre Dame (15-20 minutes) and to Galeries Lafayette (10 minutes). If you prefer to take the subway it is just a 1/4 mile away (Bonne Nouvelle). The area is full of young people with a lot of restaurants and cafes nearby. I will stay again!

Very good hotel located near a metro station and not to far from the railway station Paris Nord. The deluxe room was spacious, bright and silent. Large and good buffet breakfast. Delicious cocktails are served in the bar. I would certainly recommend this hotel
