Due to some reason, there were two separate bookings for the stay. At the time of check-in, I requested the staff to merge them, but they informed me that it was not possible, likely due to system limitations. As a result, I had to check out the next day and settle the bill. Additionally, since I was staying with my family as my son was writing exam, I requested if my room can be changed as there was lot of disturbance , but softly denied . I asked for an extra lamp because the room lighting was insufficient. Although the request was acknowledged, it was never fulfilled. Additionally, there was noticeable wear and tear on the bathroom blinds, and the main door latch was partially broken. I had been planning this stay at Mercure for quite some time, given the positive feedback I had heard, but unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations. Perhaps my experience with the excellent hospitality as a Bonvoy Lifetime Gold member has set a higher benchmark, but this stay felt disappointing in comparison.

Decent amenities and food options with good staff. However, the rooms are relatively smaller in size.
