I had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Grand Mercure Hotel and the staffs were warm and welcoming to make sure my stay was perfect. The rooms were beautifully designed, and immaculately clean, with every detail thoughtfully curated to ensure comfort and luxury.

Just want to inform that the restaurant manager approach was dissatisfied. Unnecessarly enquired us about our room number and repeatedly asking the same even I told 2 to 3 times and his behaviour is not good and feel like he insulted us. This was happened on 26th of September 2024 night when we were in dinner. He should know to treat all the people equally because everyone is paying for what they had. I will refer my friends to stay in Grand Mercure but not to eat in your ground floor restaurant.

Contrasting Experience - Front Desk vs Restaurant

Extremely Satisfied with the Restaurant staff at Le Upup - Great Food and very warm and Hospital. Very Helpful Housekeeping Staff Pathetic Front Desk / Reception - 1) Main Lady at the reception couldn't provide us with access cards, owing to some software Glitch. So initially every time we needed to go to a room, we were accompanied with a staff with a master key. 2) Later on when the keys were finally ready ( after few hours), she was reluctant to hand over two cards ( amongst 3 guests) !! She had the cheek to say that she will handover the second card, only when we return the earlier cards given, which in any case were defunct due to the glitch. 3) Our request for the 3rd bed , which was booked in advance, met with a pathetic slow response. 4) Finally at the time of check out, even after informing that we have not consumed anything from the minibar, she asked to wait for some time, till she sends somebody to verify ?? And finally when their representative came down after "Verifying", she did not have the common sense to inform us that everything is clear and our checkout is complete. 5) One night before checkout, I pre-emptly cleared my bill for the add-ons ( Dinner and Breakfast) but was told that the Bill can not be processes, owing to some Glitc (again) I am a member of Accor Hotels and have stayed for More than a month at IBIS at Stratford in London when I first went to work and live there. I have never come up with such shoddy service.
