Price quality report not good and cleanness need improvement

I have spend a few days in Paris, for the second time in this hotel. Even though I understand the concept of apart hotel, for +200 EUR/night, they did not even offer clean towels every 2 days for example. I wanted to clean up my room and the vacuum cleaner was dirty. The cleanness in the hotel in general in not ok. Breakfast is the same every day.

I found a bedbug in my bed during my second night. Worst experience ever, I will never come back.

Upon my second night of staying, I found a bedbug in my bed, adult size and freshly fed (It was vividly red). I smashed it and blood came from it. I then found a trace of "poop" that confirmed my fear (see pictures). After some research online, it had the size of an adult. I explained to the hotel staff what happened, and they promised that day that an expert would come in the afternoon and take care of my luggages and clothes, but after 2 days, nothing. I asked every morning and evening, no news from "their expert". Upon the 3rd day, the director of the hotel came, and instead of listening to my situation, tried to intimidate me, cutting me in a middle of my explanation, forcing me to say that i "didn't see what I thought I saw". That the expert would have to testofy before doing anything, but when i asked for when they would come, "we have no date yet". I had to clean all of my clothes at very high temperature, gave up two luggages and bought a new one to avoid bringing those things back home. Even if the hotel moved me to another room, I barely slept for the nights. I ended up leaving the hotel before the end of my trip once I figured that they would do nothing to help me. As of today, I didn't get any reimbursement for the hotel, the director didn't give a damn about my situation, nor apologized. I thought Accor hotels were safe and they would be having a process for handling this, but the staff was lost, the director was extremely rude, and they left me completely alone. This is also unbelievable that after 3 days in this hotel, they sent someone to intimidate me instead of helping me!

The hotel is well-located in a quiet neighborhood, overlooking a clean and pleasant square with a nearby police station, shops, and a bank within walking distance. The place is clean, with unique furniture and decorations in the lobby and rooms. The kitchens are well-equipped, the bathrooms are chic, and amenities include a safe, iron, ironing board, coffee machine, and books for entertainment. Overall, the comfort and experience were perfect. During my three-day stay at the hotel, the level of customer service provided did not meet my expectations. Specifically, the front desk staff, with one individual standing out, exhibited indifference and occasional rudeness. This fell short of the service standards I typically encounter at other establishments. The only staff member who performed satisfactorily was the one present during my check-out, displaying a basic level of professionalism. It seemed that the staff might have lacked adequate training in customer service, as their behavior did not appear to stem from malice. Despite this, my overall satisfaction with the stay was not significantly impacted, and I would consider staying at the hotel again.

Convenient and affordable but with issues

1) We had trouble with our flight into Paris and were at serious risk of losing an entire day. We had paid in full several months in advance, yet when we sent the hotel a message informing them of our difficulties and anticipated late arrival their response was if we failed to checkin by noon the next day we would lose the reservation. This in spite of completely paying in advance for a week's stay and completing online checkin. What's the purpose of advanced checkin and paying in advance? 2) The hot water failed for a day. Hotels should have onsite engineering or have on contract engineering staff for repairs. 3) The rooms are not cleaned by housekeeping. Now I can understand certain health precautions limiting the cleaning, perhaps every second day. But this isn't the case, the hotel will arrange housekeeping, for an 18 euro fee per cleaning. However, the room does come with a vaccum cleaner and fresh towels are available upon request at the front desk. 4) The rooms are clean, but the hallway rugs are filthy. Otherwise, the establishment is a convenient 15 minute walk to La Defense Esplanade Metro (slightly less convent to La Defense RER). For shopping here is a Intermarche literally next door. It is in a quiet location.

 This place is in a quiet neighborhood with parks, shops, restaurants, grocery stores all within walkable distance. Take a stroll downhill as River Seine is close by, you could see Eiffel Tower from afar. Slightly uphill is a place with children's play area, a carousel, water fountains, benches, etc where you could relax. Close by is Parc Mairie with lots of green cover. Add to these the options inside the hotel itself - a quite area where kids can read books, do colouring, play boardgames, etc. Breakfast is good with a lot of variety. Above all, Staff are very courteous and polite. Could remember Jose at the reception who is pleasant, very helpful, and wonderful to talk to. Same with others just that I don't remember everyone's names! Wish everyone one well, as you continue your good work!
