Everyone has right to sell whatever they want, in terms of goods or services. WHAT NO ONE SHOULD DO IS NOT CLEARLY STATE WHAT THEY ARE SELLING. When I make a hotel reservation, I assume that the room or apartment is cleaned regularly, not once a week, unless someone or something specifically says so beforehand. I was told this when I complained while already staying. From that point on, whatever good things there were, if there were any, don't matter.

On arrival at reception for checking in I was required to pay an additional 150 euro as a deposit for the room, which is suppose to be returned on leaving. My colleagues deposit were returned immediately I am still waiting for mine to be returned. Watch when making a booking through a booking website , you will be charged additional taxes per person when you arrive at hotel, even though you have already paid the taxes. When I got to room it is basic and clean but freezing cold. There is cooking facilities ie kettle, coffee machine pots and pans and small stove. There is no coffee or tea provided. My colleagues room smelt of curry.

Helpfully located 2 minutes from T2 tram stop to La Defense, this aparthotel was quiet and reasonably equipped for a short stay. Room was spacious and had a small kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, pans and plates to cook small meals. Bathroom was also spacious with a stand in shower. Bed only had one pillow per guest so we requested more which the staff member took from an unoccupied room so this may be an issue in busier times. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate available free from reception/breakfast area 24/7. For a short stay, it was pleasant enough. As others suggest the area itself isn’t the best, however if you’re using this as a base to explore Paris it’s fair. There was a small quantity of purchasable refreshments/snacks from reception such as Coke, Pringles etc.

Stayed here last week for one night and had to change rooms twice. The first room flooded as I was in the shower, I said I was happy to stay in the room as long as someone was able to mop up the water that had flooded into the kitchen. The receptionist suggested that it would be ME that had to clean it up. He moved me into a different room on the 9th floor, however upon checking in, it was apparent that this room had already been assigned to another guest and it was full of their belongings, back down to reception I go again… The final room was clean, however this had two single beds instead of a double, but I was too tired to argue. No apology or refund was offered by the receptionist. Also beware, they take an EUR 150.00 pre-authorisation from your card on check-in. This is not mentioned anywhere at booking or on the website. I have emailed to complain, yet I am still waiting on a response 5 days later. Would not recommend

The hotel and facilities are good for the price. Nothing to object, however the staff and service offered is something else. I travelled from the UK with my 9 year old son for a weekend, despite having Pre contacted the hotel to double check option for late check out and room status receptionist couldn't find my room when I got there at 12 midnight with my son. None if staff can't speak any other language than French at any level, I only speak Spanish and English so that was tricky. He took my ID andbended up giving one a room I think more to get rid if me as obviously I had an email confirmation. The code I was given would work, went back down. He had to change my twice due to same issue. Room wasn't proper ready as bins were full my decide no to say anything, least of my problem. Following morning went down and asked the new receptionist if everything was OK, he said it was and confirmed my name, first name. Paid for breakfast. I had to ran into the kitchen numerous times as there were no plates, cutlery or even mugs. Spent day in Paris and came back around 9pm. Again my room door wouldn't open. Back to reception. Staff member asked my name to confirm, when I said my full name, he denied, I said yes, that's my name, I checked in last night. Well they had a booking with my first name but a totally different last name, for two adults even though I travelled with a kid. So they checked me in under a completely different identity and despite my attempts for changing that I ended up giving up because the language barrier is actually a pain. The problem with the door not opening lasted all weekend. I ended up checking one day earlier and staying at my friend's. It's a shame because the hotel is nice but service is appalling. You can also see they are getting annoyed when you can't speak French what I would understand if they had no made as many mistakes. I prepaid for my room and completed online checking to avoid having to communicate that much but obviously even though. Frustrating
