Lovely staff (in special Melania at front desk).....lot of facilities nearby..... well located....walking distance from Diagonal Avenue......fair relation cost vs. with terrace are the best with view towards Tibidabo!!!

I was pleasantly impressed from the beginning, having a reception with smiles and openness from the reception staff. The rooms were clean and well positioned and every day the cleaning was exemplary. The breakfast is tasty and very diverse. Close to a lot of public transport stations.

Our arrival in this hotel was not the best. Even though I am a Platinum member of the Accor chain and had done the check-in online days prior to our arrival, the staff left us waiting for half an hour at the check-in desk. Only to then tell us we did not get the room we had booked. There was no welcome gift, my name was spelled wrong on the welcome card and I was referred to as Mr when my profile clearly states I am female etc. I'd say poor customer service all over, but then the nice lady at reception compensated us for the room type and quickly arranged this compensation. She was friendly and efficient. The room we had was very small but with an adequate size bathroom. Enough wardrobe space, a handy working desk, good airconditioning and much needed sound proof windows. The hotel itself is 3* at best. Breakfast is ok, not the best of products but good coffee. There is no bar, but you can get drinks at reception. The carpet in the hallways is run down with filthy marks, luckily the rooms have linoleum. The location is ok, close to metro stations and about 10mins walk from Diagonal. Given the price, and the receptionists problem solving professionalism, we would maybe have considered returning here. That is until check-out. This is when another receptionist in a very unfriendly manner 'ordered' me to pay for a bottle of water that I supposedly had in the 'bar' at reception. I did not. I did not even use my drink vouchers. Apart from the fact that she was mistaken, I do not appreciate the manner in which she spoke to me. In the end she did drop the cost (2.50) but only because I hadn't used my vouchers. We travel to Barcelona quite frequently and have always stayed elsewhere. We will continue to do so in future.

Its a good Hotel not far away from downtown, if you like to walk you need 25 minutes or you take a taxi and for few Euros you´r then there. Rooms a clean as all other Mercure Hotels I have been, Breakfast has everithing you need the time is perfect when you travel with Kids, missing in rooms is a water cooker but on reception you will get one. Great personal always friendly and try to help. I will be there again for my next travel

I'm a member of Le Club Accor Hotels. I have Silver Card. Despite this fact: 1. The hotel didn't grant my request related to quiet room allocation. I received the room on the first floor with big noise (street noise) outside the window. Similar request was granted in many hotels out of AccorHotels. In AccorHotels such situation happened at the first time !!! During check in the woman at the reception told me that my room has quiet location. SHE WAS LYING! 2. The hotel didn't grant my request concerning leaving the postcard to send it. This situation happened at the first time too. 3. During making the reservation I was using 6000 points Rewards (accordingly the rules in this scope applicable in AccorHotels) and that enabled me not to pay 120 Euro (following the rules mentioned above). I prepaid the remaining part of the amount. The hotel wasn't take points from my Accor account directly after reservation. Before check out in the hotel the problem arose, because the receptionist thought that I should pay mentioned above 120 Euro. Se showed it total lack of knowledge of the rules in force in AccorHotels. I told her that I wouldn't pay this sum, because I acted in accordance with the rules in AccorHotels and hotel's duty is to take 6000 points form my Accor account. After returning home I contacted with Customer Service Accor. Employees of this service agreed withe the hotel that hotel will "burn" these 6000 points. I received security codes for this purpose and I sended them to the hotel. Unfortunately the hotel "burned" just 2000 points so far (3 weeks after returning). They didn't "burn" 4000 points. I am asking: is it so hard? Whether they can't or don't want to do it? Mayby is a form of intentional action by hotel????!!!!!!!! I suggest to you: AVOID THIS HOTEL! Mercure Barcelona Condor = lies, arrogance, disregard.

Everything is know fixed but we do understand your deception, kindly accept 1700 courtesy points on your loyalty card as part of our apologies. Good lacalization, but it does not seems like a Mercury. It is much more an Ibis. Nothing at all to eat, except in breakfast. Only one person in reception, some times there is no one. The recptionist does not have any patience. They are not polite. Cleaning is acceptible.

The location, and transportation option around the hotel were good. The corridor on one of the floors had a weird smell. The room was lacking a box of tissues. Otherwise everything was good. The bed was comfy, as expected, the area where the hotel is located is quiet, and easily accessible with public transportation as well.

The hotel is not quite as central as some, but is in easy access of public transport I did the 'advance check in' with Accor but this appeared to have made no difference as at check in I still had to provide card details and passport (both already added). Room wasn't ready which was fine as I was a little early. You can wait in pleasant area by reception which has free coffee and tea. When my room was available the receptionist handed me my key. I asked about my drinks voucher and she rather rudely said that 'they weren't aware silver Accor members got these' - even though this benefit has been available for many many years! She made me choose a drink from the strange counter attached to reception - I asked if there were glasses and an opener in the room - she said no (which was untrue) and opened my drink ... meaning I had to carry an open bottle of beer, a glass and my luggage up to the room - no offer of help. A disappointing start. The room was on the upper floor - a room with a terrace. The rooms appear to have been recently refurbished but for an exec double they are tiny. There is no proper wardrobe, just some hanging space on top of a unit - fine for one person for a couple of nights but useless for much longer (or if you have anything longer than a shirt to hang) There were two tiny (250ml) complimentary waters left on the bed - not replaced during the stay. The most annoying thing (misselling!) was that this room is supposed to have 'complimentary soft drinks' which I had assumed meant water, coke, juice etc and not two tiny bottles of water worth a few cents. There was a mini bar but this was all marked as chargeable. It's rather dubious to market a room with 'free soft drinks' when you actually just give the customer two small bottles of water. The tiny room had a coffee machine which was handy, usual TV with nothing on interest in English, a large bathroom (rather too large given to smallness of room) with shower etc and good range of toiletries. Bed was fine The one thing that saved this room from being a little disappointing was the terrace - this was massive (bigger than the room) with table and chairs and sun loungers. On the side of the hotel where you get sun most of the day. Quite private as well which is nice. Really great to sit at the end of a day wandering or just to get some more sun. While this is a newly renovated property we were less than impressed by the front of house staff and the layout of the rooms. A clear glass screen between the bathroom and the bedroom sections meant that even sitting on the loo lacked any privacy - this may well be sold as something for couples over a romantic weekend but there is nothing romantic about sitting on the loo! The front of house staff were generally lacking in empathy when guests found themselves robbed of their possessions by petty street thieves and needing to make emergency arrangements. One front of house staff member was deliberately rude, leaving guests waiting for service while she flirted with an arriving male guest. All in all this was not a property to which I would return.

I have to say i was very disappointed with the hotel . Its quite shoddy and not very clean and needs maintenance and cleaning. Though the staff at the reception are absolutely fantastic and very helpful and friendly and the breakfast is very good!

This feels like a hotel from the 60s rebadged as a Mercure. Staff were nice. Location safe and outside the tourist mania zone but without much charm. Breakfast seemed to standard. Bedding acceptable, hotel oddly stingy with pillows. Worn around the edges. Clean. Bathroom sink did not drain well. Good AC. Good enough isolation from street noise.

Urban hotel in a perfect location (with very good connections to the centre in minutes!) We were waiting for a bit for our room but the reception area was accommodated with sofas a chill out zone and some sweets and coffee facilities. Nuria was taking care of our luggage and Marisa gave some advice about what to do in the city. Our room was marvellous, with a spacious terrace and a beautiful view to the mountain. We will be back (hopefully soon)

Hotel location was very good but the staff were not friendly and helpful. When I asked to something to them they directly said no. I am also working at reception that's why I knew how is way of say No. And also who checked me in I do not know but they did not give any information about hotel. I did not know the benefits or etc. I just liked the location also price was cheap but staff should take care of the guests. Thanks.

Simply...... it’s not a 4 star hotel. It a ibis with Nespresso en the room . The Room is extremly small , extremly basic, not Bar/ not restaurant. No nothing. Can believe this from Accor. I’m a fanatic of Accor hoteles .... it the very first time that it’s not al Accor level.

Rather an Ibis than a Mercure. Very poor bedding, no bar, no restaurant. Very basic services. Had exepected more from the hotel description online. Location ok although not in the middle of the city center

Good evening Mr. Vincent, firstly let us thank you for reserving with us and taking the time to give us your feedback! It saddens us to know that you haven´t enjoyed your stay with us as you should. It is indeed true that we don´t have a bar or a restaurant in the hotel ( besides for breakfast). It is also true however that you may have coffee, tea or water as a complementary service during your stay in the lobby. We do work with an exterior Japanese restaurant that delivers in the hotel, you would find the contact information in the room. Besides that, our reception team is open 24 hours to help you order any delivery to our hotel. We´re also surrounded by high-quality-restaurants We´re not in fact in the middle of the city center, which we actually consider an advantage. Not only takes barely 10 minutes to get to Plaza Catalunya, but we don´t suffer from the same amount of noise and crowds as in the city center. We would gladly like to know more details about the bedding problem, since we rarely get complaints of this nature. We hope you give us a new chance and to host you again.
