The moment we checked into our requested room and checked out - everything were done efficently by the hotel staff. Customer Services and Housekeeping - my sincere thank you to all of you. The room was clean and well maintained. The bed and pillows are comfortable. The location of the Ibis Hotel Melaka is good because the historical places to see are walking distance from the hotel. Restaurants, the colourful trishaws and the famous Jonker's Street are nearby. Overall a very nice hotel to stay for holidays or business trips.

We have not get any notifications in advance for the renovation works. There are no discount or any other compensation due to the noisy work. It affects my afternoon naps time. Very disappointed. Last, I only realised renovation at lift lobby.

I ordered an ice lemon tea from the restaurant. Saw the staff using hands to pick up the ice and putting it into our drinks. I don't think this is the right procedure with regards to food handling, especially at an international hotel.
