The Ibis Melaka is within easy walking distance to the very popular Jonker Street. Very quiet at night and rooms were also dark. The pool was great and our children liked the kids pool section. Breakfast was passable, but not memorable. Staff did their job, but weren't overly friendly. And on our 2nd night there was a storm and one of our rooms flooded. No clue where it came in. But it went through some of our backpacks and shoes. We notified the reception staff as we checked out and they nodded and that was it.

Room Condition Pros: - Clean and spacious - Mattress was awesome Cons: - Lighting a little too dim for a family with kids Breakfast: Cons: - Nasi lemak rice has no fragrance at all - Egg station staff unable to cope with high order numbers (kept forgetting) - Noodles station the boiler is not functioning well, long waiting time Overall, really need to look into the breakfast quality, it's alright to have limited choices but at least the taste and quality must achieve a certain standard.
