The hotel was basic and comfortable, and the service was all right. However, there was a lack of staff, especially at breakfast, so tables were unclean and food was not replenished. The pool was good. Stay here for some essential comfort and a plus point - it is within walking distance to Jonker street

Wonderful stay - excellent service and hospitality ( in particular at reception Ireni was most attentive, helpful & courteous) - fabulous pool area and great location walking distance to cities key attractions

Great location for the many wonderful sites of historical Malacca. A short walk away from the busy Jonker St area but there are many wonderful hidden gems not far away from this area . The hotel is quite spacious and modern with good sized rooms . We were really impressed by the hospitality of Irene and Ipan . They are so friendly , professional and great ambassadors for Accor . I hope they undertake leadership roles within Accor . The fitness room and pool are great to use . The big let down is the restaurant area . Many staff seem disinterested . The food is not of a high quality and table service is poor. We saw a number of staff sitting idly using their phones or just wandering . Maybe much more encouragement to have greater pride in service and hospitality is needed .

Worth the Price, it’s Clean and Warmth feel from Staff

Pricing wise it depends on the holiday seasons, but I felt it’s worth it for the price in terms of comfort, cleanliness, exceptional staff quality and not so crowded as compare to the few older and more prominent hotels around Melaka Location wise, it’s not the most convenient, it’s about 5 min drive from Jonker but it’s in Little India area hence some good and famous food are literally walking distance; such as Bunga Raya Popiah, the Famous Samfu Nonya restaurant. Good parking space behind the hotel and it’s fenced and guarded. The only thing is it’s outdoor parking. Very nice swimming pool with kids playground in the pool. Kids will love it. Breakfast is at the lobby cafe. Food variety wise, it’s abit little in my opinion and the choices aren’t really that appealing. Only one hot manned counter for eggs. Perhaps the cafe space is also limited. But ultimately what will bring me back to this hotel again are the staffs. They are attentive and I must really compliment front counter staff “Apin Williams” for helping me do last min arrangement for a surprise birthday for my wife. They even called up to the room to check on how you are and what we need. Hotels nowadays are very similar in terms of the amenities hence it’s the Staff approach that will distinguish the Great hotels amongst them.
