Just wrapped up a stay at Hotel Ibis Padang, and it was pretty awesome. I was traveling solo, heading out to surf in Mentawai, and this place was a perfect pit stop. The hotel is super modern and comfy, making it a great spot to unwind before my surf trip. The room was clean, with a bed that was so comfy I almost didn’t want to get up. They’ve got solid Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and a handy work desk. The lobby has a chill vibe, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The on-site restaurant had a tasty mix of local and international dishes, and the breakfast buffet was a standout—definitely worth hitting up. The location is pretty spot-on, making it easy to explore Padang before heading to Mentawai. The whole place has a relaxed feel, which was just what I needed before hitting the waves. Overall, Hotel Ibis Padang is a great choice if you're passing through, whether you’re surfing, sightseeing, or just need a comfy base. Totally recommend it!

Friendly staff and very accommodating The room is clean and nice food for breakfast was a lot, great taste and plenty of options the only thing that ruin our stay was the room air conditioning is not working properly, it just blowing normal air, not cool

Pleasant Stay

I’ve been staying at this hotel quite often this year yet this is the first review I make, especially after I made a pleasant room upgrade as an Accor Plus member. Originally booked a deluxe room, for a night during a weekend since I had an event to attend, asked the staff if the upgrade was possible during check in and turned out, a business suite room was still available. Unlike the superior or deluxe rooms, The business suite room is so spacious even there’s 3 or 4 of you inside. Got the minibar and water dispenser for yourself. You might get the bathtub in suite room if you stay in other hotel, but not in this hotel (or maybe applies in Ibis chains), I think that’s only the minus. Perfect for family vacation, I suppose, with one queen bed and one couch inside the room, and a lot of pillows. I always booked the room without breakfast so I can’t comment about that one. The rest of the review will be explained through the pictures I’ve taken.

Good experience by all staff🫶🏼 Had a great view so happy to stay here. Wifi its spread around hotel, breakfast, room was so clean and cozy, located in center of padang city its so very strategic , i will recomended this hotel if you wanna stay in padang with affordble cost and high quality
