The room had a comfortable bed and was carpeted. The only drawback was that the windows don’t open at all and the air conditioning was noisy. The breakfast buffet was excellent and above average for ibis styles. The hotel is very conveniently located for the station if you use the back entrance to the station. There wasn’t a great choice of restaurant s in the immediate area on a Sunday afternoon although there was a cafe with delicious hot chocolates and cakes etc nearby. It is not too far from the town centre for a greater choice of eateries. The receptionist was very helpful

We stayed at the Ibis In Caen. New hotel, with good beds and pleasant room. Air conditioning and a beautiful view if you are in a room on the higher floors. Breakfast is good and filling. Very attentive reception.

If you ventured to Caen, there’s a nice hotel near the Gare (Train Station), that’s perfect for travelers. The hotel is clean, the staff is hospitable and friendly. The hotel is situated on the banks of the Ore River and is located in the Les Rives de l’Orne shopping center which has many shops and restaurants. Breakfast is included! Recommend to anyone visiting Caen/Normandy area!

Great little hotel. Good location for bars, restaurants, shops and attractions. The hotel is very clean and exceptionally quiet. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is basic continental but serves it's purpose.

Our last night in France and our fifth hotel. And the only one that is part of a large chain. Hotel was fine, room was fine, breakfast was fine (and free) but the wi-fi was awful, as others have said on here. How can you expect people to stay somewhere with such terrible connectivity, and how can you hold your heads up as a big hotel chain with this sort of service to your guests? Nowadays it's like offering a room with no bathroom. Fortunately we were only staying one night.

Concerning the Wi-Fi we had a network cut because we were installing the fiber, currently the network works very well, we are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
