Poor Staff Behavior Overshadowed Positives

While this hotel has several positive attributes, my experience was significantly impacted by poor service from one staff member (Daxxxx) who displayed unprofessional behavior throughout my stay from check-in to check-out. This individual's inappropriate conduct overshadowed what could have been an excellent visit. I must acknowledge the outstanding service from other team members, particularly the breakfast reception staff who maintained exceptional professionalism and warmth despite being very busy. The housekeeping team consistently provided clean rooms, the breakfast quality was excellent with well-maintained buffet stations, and the location offers convenient access for both business and leisure activities. Unfortunately, the unprofessional service from one staff member was enough to compromise the entire experience. While I cannot recommend this particular property and will not be returning, I remain confident in the Accor brand and would consider other properties within their portfolio. The hotel has strong facilities and most staff provide quality service, but management needs to address service consistency issues.

Quiet neighbourhood short walk from Ostabahnhof

Just a short walk from Ostbahnhof U-bahn station and an even shorter 1 block walk to the 11 tram stop, this ibis looks like a newer building. The entrance is just off on the side street around the corner from the gym. Check-in staff was very nice and efficient and the room was clean - a typical ibis setup. The window can open and because I faced the side street, it was quiet and serene. The riverfront park and promenade is just a short walk away and the overall neighbourhood is quite residential and nice.

Big difference among the staff, some were absolutely not service-minded, but on the contrary very clumsy. Working in a hotel requires a sense of tact.This lowers the rating.

A good budget base to visit the city.

Can't fault this hotel. Reasonable price, good service from staff, spacious and clean rooms with all basic facilities. The location is also good with restaurants, cafes and bars close by in a safe area, plus the no 11 tram stops right outside which goes into the city centre. A perfect budget hotel. Car parking is E15 per day. The only slight gripe is the security. Anyone can literally walk in, jump in the lift at ground level or in the car park (reception is 1st floor) and access any hotel floor.

Bed was comfortable, ok for one night. Walking distance to the main train station and the tram stop is out the front of the hotel. Lidl is approximately 1km walk. Surprisingly quiet given it is located on a main road. Definitely budget, don't expect too much.
