Quite a disappointing experience, but sadly par for the course at Queensland's Gold Coast. For a tourist driven town it's surprising that there is such a low standard of hospitality staff training and practice. Don't want to waste much more of my time on this place and won't be staying there again. But here's the basics. - have Accor Status but 'member rates' on website were more expensive than any other OTA, that's the opposite of a 'loyalty' program to me, with them trying to extort guests who book direct. Staff at hotel check in had zero input or advice around this, it was like I'd asked a question in a foreign language. - room was very basic for $400 a night. Free to air on tv only, Android compatibility only on streaming despite Apple being owned by majority of Australians. - guests only receive 1.5 pillows each (3 on a bed) and no extra spare pillows in room. Towels virtually threadbare and small. Motel level amenities really. - F&B experiences exceedingly frustrating. At pool, a QR code is used, and you manually input a table number for delivery. But staff were so clueless they could not deliver to the correct table. They dumped ours at another table where guests proceeded to eat from the plate, then when the mistake was realised the waitress picked it up and gave it to us like nothing had happened... Seriously. - there is no room service, but you can order from an onsite restaurant then go and pick it up. Why they cannot organise delivery to room is amazing to me to begin with, but even the pickup experience was an ordeal of incompetence, with them getting the order wrong repeatedly and missing items. When the food did get back to room the quality of the meal and presentation was atrocious. For the prices they charge for very basic food, they should be ashamed of the experience they provide. I recommend ordering takeout from a local business instead. - the pool was fine, but the hot tub was tepid at best. - location is maybe good if you're playing golf, but there's better spots if you have zero interest in golf. - breakfast was passable, but very small indoor table space only. Even getting down there before 7am on a Sunday morning there was only room outside in the heat. - Overall if you have travelled and experienced competent hospitality elsewhere in the world, you'll feel let down by the 'bare minimum' nature of this hotel. - I would regard it as suitable only for a very short stay if you have something to do in the area and better spots are not available.

Third visit and still needs room renovation. Pools,grounds,parking and staff are great. Rooms smell mouldy and need renovating. Staff were 10/10 very helpful. Bathroom window dirty and old decor. Wont be back as the mould smell was too much this time. Up for sale so hopefully new owners ill upgrade rooms.

We stayed here for 5 nights, and overall it was okay. Pros: - Location was perfect, just outside surfers away from the chaos but 20 mins to all the theme parks - Pool was huge, there was a little one, a spa and 2 x normal size pools - Buffet breakfast was adequate - Credit you get at checkout if you don’t get your room cleaned. - Free parking - Laundry facilities for each block ($3 wash and $3 dry) and easily accessible Cons: - No lifts so ask for a ground floor - No bottle of water in the room but there was filling station near the pool area - Limited food menu, could add more to it.. - Slightly overpriced food and beverage, better off getting uber or driving to surfers paradise - There’s a kids/games room which needs a little more activities or toys for the kids, it’s such a big, wasted space and upgrading this room a bit would make this resort absolutely kid friendly. There was two occasions which could have been better handled by staff but wasn’t hence the rating of 3 stars: - Order never arrived in the pool area, 45 mins for a drink and wings and it wasn’t until I followed up inside that they advised the tickets were not printing. - Requested fresh towels and toilet paper from reception as room hadn’t been cleaned and nothing arrived or resolved until day before check out. On second request we were notified that we had the clean for green sign which is fair enough, we then removed for that day and we were told cleaner would return before 4pm that day, but no one came. Rang reception after 4pm to request even just fresh towels and still nothing came. Had to go to the pool area to get towels and to the shops to get toilet paper as I simply couldn’t have another conversation with reception at this point. I then sent my husband in the morning to request yet again for the room to be cleaned, and when we returned it was finally cleaned and basic essentials stocked up. In the interest of fairness and transparency, we did get a credit of $30 on checkout as the rooms were not cleaned. Would we stay here again? Probably not. Whilst the miscommunication with staff wasn’t enough to really ruin our holiday, it was enough for me to say that we won’t stay here again. There are a lot of options/accomodations in the Gold Coast / Surfers Paradise area for the same price or less which would be more accomodating.

What you’ve described around the delays with your poolside order and the challenges in receiving housekeeping support does not reflect the standard of service we strive to deliver. Your feedback highlights clear communication gaps that should not have occurred, and I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and frustration this caused. The delays in providing fresh towels and amenities, especially after multiple follow-ups, are unacceptable and we are addressing this directly with our teams to ensure this does not happen again. We also appreciate your comments regarding areas where we can enhance the guest experience, such as the kids’ playroom and our menu variety. These suggestions are genuinely helpful as we continue to plan improvements across the resort. I’m glad our team were able to offer a credit on departure, but I understand this does not undo the inconvenience you experienced, nor fully restore your confidence in returning. While I regret that we fell short of your expectations this time, I truly appreciate your honesty and the chance to learn from your stay. If you would consider returning in the future, I would welcome the opportunity to personally oversee your stay and ensure it reflects the warm and seamless experience our resort is known for.

<良かった所> ・夜はジムが空いている 5日間の滞在中、数回夕方に利用しましたが、多くても2〜3人しか利用していませんでした。 ・地下駐車場完備 9号棟の地下に出入り口があり、駐車台数にも余裕があります。 ・屋外プールが素敵 Oasis Poolは大きく、深い所は150cmほどあります。温かいジャグジーもあり、座る場所もたくさんあるので天気が良ければおすすめです。 ・Kids Hubという子供スペースがある レセプションの隣に独立したスペースがあり、Xboxがプレイできたり(受付でコントローラーを借りて設定をお願いする必要がある)、レトロゲーム が置いてある。 <悪かった所> ・フロントで待たされることが多い 常時二人ほどしかおらず、一人が電話対応をしているともう一人が全てのゲストの対応をしなければならず、混雑していました。ランドリーマシーンを使うため、硬貨への両替や洗剤を買いに行った際、電話対応中の人しかそれらの対応はできないと言われ、15分以上待ちましたが、団体客のチェックインで行列ができ始めたので諦めて部屋へ帰りました。 ・全体的に設備が不十分 1階のツインルームに宿泊しましたが、部屋に備え付けのアメニティやカトラリー類は必要最低限でした。 三人宿泊でショートグラスが2つ、ティースプーン2本とマグカップ、ワイングラスしか無いのはとても不便でした。せめてフォークやナイフ、お皿が何枚かは必要です。 フェイスタオル(中サイズ)も1枚しか用意されていませんでした。 また、部屋の中に座るスペースがアームチェア一つしか無く、ウェブサイトの写真にあるようなオットマンやフロアランプ、デスクランプもありませんでした。 ジムの受付に人がいたのを見たことが無く、ロッカーの鍵はおろかタオルすら無かったので、着替え室のシャワーなどは使えませんでした。 ・設備の古さ バスタブのコーキングが古くなり隙間だらけになっています。また、ベッドもコイルタイプのマットレスのサポートが弱くなり、沈み込みが激しすぎるので、そろそろマットレスの交換も必要だと感じました。 オアシスプールのプールサイドのタイルが割れている箇所がいくつかあり、裸足で歩いて痛みを感じることがありました。 最後に、プライバシーが気になる方は1階では無く2階以上への宿泊を強くお勧めします。建物の構造上、部屋の裏にゴルフコースや通路がある場合が多く、バルコニーに座っていると歩行者やカートに乗ったゴルファーが頻繁に行き来するのを目にします。
