A nice resort but the studio rooms are in need of a refurb. Furniture and rooms a little dated. Booked a standard studio, requested for upgrade and room with good view. Didn’t get the room category upgrade when we arrived but did get a room with a view of the pool. This resort don’t supply in room complementary bottle water for platinums. As we arrived late, after checking in around 6pm I went to the restaurant to make a booking for dinner. The elderly lady who served me told me they were fully booked. I asked if I could order and sit at the tall table in between the restaurant and bar and was told no coz the table belonged to the bar. So we ended up having dinner at the bar which was just across from the restaurant so we have a full view of the restaurant. While we were at the bar, the restaurant was quite empty. It was empty the whole time we were eating at the bar. So after our dinner I took a photo and the lady said to me they had no shows. The booking didn’t show. No point telling me that when she realised I was taking pics. The food at the bar definitely can improve for a Pullman. The pizza was like a Coles brand pre-made pizza. The grilled salmon on Turkish bread was tasteless. We’ve actually never had food of this quality at a Pullman. The food served at one of the Mercure we stayed previously was much nicer than that. The next morning we met Lachlan, who was very helpful. Lachlan’s customer service was exceptional. He truly understood what good customer service was all about. And he understood the different status levels in Accor plus. If things improve where they need to improve, including people skills (referring to the restaurant staff that night) Pullman Magenta would be an exceptional place to stay coz the location is awesome with the beach near by.

We had a great time here. Arrived too early for check in (as intended, since the forecast dictated our beach plans), but they gave us drinks vouchers and were able to get us into our villa a bit early after we returned from the nearby beach. Being a member does help. We were also upgraded to a 3-bedroom villa and returned to find a plate of fruit waiting in the kitchen for us, which our 3 year old devoured. The restaurant had a decent dinner menu and friendly staff. The breakfast buffet had some nice little surprises I haven't seen in other places. Good service in general. Didn't use the other facilities so no comment on those. The accomodation is a bit tired and there are no flyscreens on the doors, which meant that we used the noisy aircon unit for the night. Not a big deal, but odd for a hotel trying to reduce their carbon footprint. All in all, this was a good place for our first overnight trip as a family.
Very outdated and due for a total refurbishment.

We stayed here for 3nights and was so disappointed. I work in a large hotel chain and couldn’t believe how run down this hotel is. First up we noted tiny teddy biscuits and cashews on the floor. The balconies were filthy covered in cobwebs and rusty tiles also the furniture was so marked and scratched. The carpets are stained walls really dirty. Got into bed first night and was disappointed to find a paper thin blanket on the bed we froze all night as there wasn’t even a spare blanket or doona in the wardrobe. The pillow s honestly need throwing in the bin. They are so compacted and flat. I did tell reception the next morning and two doonas were delivered to our room only to find that one was a single and the other a queen and we had a king bed This is supposed to be a 5star resort, far from it. My husband the first morning had a really sore back and hardly slept due to the left side of the mattress being so saggy it was like sleeping in a hollow. We swapped sides and I ended up the same over the next two nights . On our final day I noticed that the bed had a broken leg but don’t think that was the problem. It was the mattress once again it needs to been thrown in the bin as well. I honestly couldn’t wait to come home and sleep in my own bed. The furniture even in the restaurants are both of 2star quality ripped and torn seat covers. The staff in reception and Barrett’s restaurant of a night were all lovely and friendly however. Won’t ever come back. I thought the Pullman was supposed to be on the higher end of the Accor chain of hotels pity help the others.

We stayed for 3 nights in 1702. First night we had no electricity on 3 occasions. A fuse was tripping and each time the response was to reset the fuse. Same thing the next morning, and after some pleading, they bought in the maintenance team. Power was restored by the afternoon. The last morning we woke to no hot water, cold shower for me and a very unhappy wife. Again the maintenance team were called and by the time we left, still no hot water. My guess is both issues were related. The staff were responsive but there was no accountability or follow up. It seemed like just another issue to deal with. No room service during the 3 night stay. Probably acceptable these days, however it wasn’t clean when we arrived. Dirt and sand everywhere. Perhaps they could provide a broom. This is not a 5 star resort, 3 at best.

No screen on window or door. Unable to open window because the key has been lost. Broken toilet seat. Loose bathroom fittings. Basin tap faulty. No exterior lighting at entrance. (failed light globe). Stained carpet. Chipped paintwork. Very low output bedside lamps - insufficient to read by. Noisy air con. Friendly staff. East to park. Good resort facilities. When checking out I mentioned the disappointment with the room and was told by a staff member that the rooms are to be renovated in June 2023. That's great news. But don't charge a 5 star tariff for a room that on a good day would just pass as a 3 star room.
