Ok but not great

Ok but not great. There are some things which definitely could be improved; (1) the wifi is not reliable - which is unacceptable in late 2025; (2) while the staff are very friendly, there aren’t many of them; (3) the fridge froze our food; (4) the dishwasher and a toilet weren’t working properly; (even after advising staff); and (5) we had to wait 1.5 hours to be served at dinner. The location is exceptional and the accomodation is clean and comfortable so the resort could be outstanding with a bit more effort.

Great location at wonderful Bunker Bay beach, hotel rooms very nice, all staff friendly snd helpful. Quality of food in restaurant very good. Special mention to Sarah in housekeeping… upon leaving I left an important piece of kit for my heart monitor, I was back in Perth (3.5 hrs away) by the time I realised I had left it behind, but when I rang the Pullman Sarah offered to bring it to Perth for me….thats service!!!

Don’t waste your money staying here

The setting in beautiful bunker bay is outstanding Unfortunately that’s where it ends 3 star at best charging 5 star prices Don’t take up the offer of putting $200 on your room for $180 You loose what you don’t use but they don’t tell you that Don’t order anything from housekeeping or room service unless you ring ahead by about 2 hrs and then follow up with a call to them and you may get what you needed 40 min after your follow up call Not just an isolated incident it happened every time The rooms are tired and badly in need of an upgrade The beds are tiny certainly not what you’d expect in a 5 star hotel more like bunk size in a hostel Breakfast was not very warm and canteen style again not what you’d expect expect in a 5 star hotel Dinner limited options and vastly overpriced It’s saving grace is the setting and the day spa is excellent one of the best ! Outstanding , stunning beach and views But don’t waste your money staying here

Well worth a visit.

This was our first visit to the Pullman, we booked a Studio Lake Room King Bed and were so glad we did as it provided privacy, peacefulness and had the calming effect of water. We stayed for three nights and explored the area and Margaret River wineries. Staff - everyone one so helpful and accommodating. Big shout out to all of you for your great service and friendliness. Food - Dinners were a bit disappointing, lacked flavour and the essence of good food. Breakfast’s on the other hand were really good, freshly cooked omelettes along with other eggs types. Room - lovely, clean tidy and well maintained. Others have mentioned that the facilities are old and need upgrading and yes I do agree but this did not detract from enjoying our stay as the faults were not that bad. Beach - a short walk from our room. Beautiful colours on a sunny day. Part of the beach is patrolled so good for swimming. There is a lovely pool if this is preferred at the hotel. The hotel room felt private despite the large number of guests. We only saw people at meals and hardly heard them during the day. A perfect stay 😎.

Relaxing escape

We spent 3 nights in a lake view room the rooms are dated but they were clean and comfortable the only issue with our room is the fridge kept freezing everything and we had to defrost it and clean it out. The location was great easy access to Bunker Bay Beach it was beautiful close to Dunsborough and plenty of wineries and breweries. We had daily drink included the only downside they had no Margaret River sparkling only Brown Brothers. Breakfast was really good plenty to choose from, eggs and omelets made to order pastries there was plenty a juicing station and tea and coffee we enjoyed breakfast I recommend sitting inside as the seagulls and crows were annoying getting on the tables. We had dinner Other Side of the Moon could not fault the food or service everything was perfect and first class we had a great night, we booked to get a table. We had a great time relaxing all the staff we interacted with were amazing extremely friendly and accommodating we will definitely be back
