Not sure I'd class this 5 star. The rooms were big with lots of space, the bed was really hard and uncomfortable. We had an ant infestation, they got into all my luggage, food, handbag, anything that was left on a bench surface. We could not get a dinner booking and did not realise it was so far out of Dunsborough (our fault for not checking). We had the charcuterie board at the bar and it was terrible, I was up all night with upset tummy after eating it, sandwich ham on a charcuterie in a 5 star resort? The location was really beautiful, unfortunately is was a bit too cool to take advantage of the pool or beach which is the main attraction of staying there. I don't beleive we'd come back and stay again.

We were extremely excited for our stay given the great reviews online. Mostly we enjoyed our stay, however felt disappointed with the customer service from some of the staff. As as example, upon arrival we observed customers receiving a complimentary glass of bubbles when they checked in, however when it came to our check in, we received a lacklustre greeting, basic information on the resorts facilities, and no complimentary bubbles. To be honest, we felt unwelcomed. Sadly we received the same level of customer service at check out, not even the generic question of 'did you enjoy your stay' was offered. Thankfully the wonderful buggy driver (think his name was Luke), and the housekeeping staff displayed friendly and warm customer service. Being in the hospitality industry, I'm not one to complain, but felt it was necessary to point out an area that requires improvement.
