An Everlasting Memory

Hotel choices are usually based on location, accommodations and prices. Understandable. But the choice to return to a given hotel is usually based on the service rendered, which is why I will always choose to return to this Ibis Hotel. What began as a place to stay after a mega family reunion of 60+ people, ended up being my home for an extended period due to an accidental fall my husband had that fractured his femur resulting in emergency surgery. I was alone during his hospitalization, feeling anxious and vulnerable. The day before his surgery I went downstairs to breakfast and was warmly greeted by the same young man who had greeted me on previous mornings. This time I began to weep - a combination of stress mixed with the kindness expressed by the young man who lent me his shoulder to cry into. A couple of minutes later, I was fine. The following days I was greeted by him, David. and his colleagues including Nichol, Anne, Verm. In addition, anything I needed at the front desk was cheerfully attended to by Daniela, Darwin or Claudia. My husband was discharged from the hospital and will have his stitches removed tomorrow. We will then be permitted to fly back home in a couple of days. The people employed at this Ibis hotel became my family; always smiling and willing to help in any way. They are the essence of what hotels seek - cheerful & caring individuals. Thank you to the staff of this Ibis Hotel ❤️

While the hotel is modern, the room was tiny. No fridge or microwave. The shower had no water pressure. Since there was no handheld shower head and the pressure was so minimal, it was hard to clean oneself. There was no complimentary soap and only a bottle of shampoo in the shower. The ac was noisy. It kept rattling all night. Breakfast buffet was deficient. No orange juice, only some tasteless juices. There was cold waffles and pancakes and no way to heat them up.

This is a pretty decent budget hotel in a prime location in the city. The staff at reception are all friendly with good English, and it’s properly staffed throughout the night too. The lobby has some nice sofas and while the dining area isn’t massive it has a good range of food, but is only open at specific times of the day rather than continually. There is a small bar with drinks at good prices, some TV screens showing sport, and it’s actually quite a bustling area. My room was on the thirteenth floor, and the three elevators serve all the floors quickly. It was a basic room, with wooden floors, an open wardrobe and small desk, but the bed was comfortable and although a little harsh, the lighting was alright. The air-conditioning was effective and there was a single electrical socket not too far from one side of the bed. Annoyingly there were no drink facilities in the room though. It was nice to have a window which actually opened properly, but note the street outside can be rather noisy, even when you’re on one of the top floors. The bathroom was a decent size, although the extractor fan was extremely noisy. There’s plenty of storage space around the sink and toiletries in the dispensers are decent enough. The towels are probably some of the softest I have ever had in a hotel which was amazing! A decent hotel which I’d certainly consider staying at again, and for a good value base I’d recommend.

I Love Ibis hotels, their beds are comfortable, and rooms are clean. This one was in a prime location in Lima with many things to do around within walking distance in the heart of Miraflores. The breakfast was excellent, and customer service was also great.

Very clean. Excellent location. Friendly staff. Excellent restaurant. Very safe. Affordable. I was able to invite friends to visit me because there is a nice are by the lobby whit a bar and food to hang out. There is laundry service that came handy. The staff spoke english so we were able to communicate.
