Ladies at the check in and the restaurant were very nice, helpful , and listened to our needs. Breakfast area was almost always crowded. At peak hour like 8am , foods not replenished fast enough to meet the demand. Walking distance to the beach. AccorPlus member received recognition well. Thanks

Staff were amazing & made myself and my children feel at home. A lady called Puri made us feel very comfortable she was warm and welcoming had great English and was so friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel. House keeping were great and accomodating and very particular when it came to cleaning. We would definitely come back! I hope Puri gets the recognition she deserves. Thank you 🙏🏼

My partner and I went to the Mecure in September as part of an accommodation package and I will break down my review into the good and bad: GOOD - Great location - in the heart of Legian and walking distance to Garlic Lane, and a quick cab or scooter to Seminyak, Kuta, beaches etc. The room - Decent size with A/C, fridge, safe, bathroom, TV and balcony. Our room overlooked the street which was great to sit and watch the passing traffic with a drink or three, and you got used to the noise of the motorbikes in no time. The staff - They are so lovely, friendly and helpful. A true asset to the hotel. Hotel size - Big and roomy - you are not on top of your neighbours. Rooftop pool and bar - Great pool that overlooks the street and the bar serves great food and cocktails. A truly relaxing experience. We didn't check out the kids pool as we didn't need to. Breakfast - Plentiful and good selection of hot, cold, traditional, cereal and custom made eggs/omletes and staff do their best to keep everything stocked. Room service - We got off to a bad start with our room having been missed the first day and three requests for a clean finally resolved the problem, but after that, no issues. The room was immaculate and clean each day. BAD - Communication - Communication from this hotel is shocking. They do not reply to emails and when they finally do? It is weeks after you sent it. They really need to lift their game with this. Airport transfers - We had pre-booked our airport transfer (at $30AUD each way) and when we arrived and they were a no show. No whatsapp messages or emails from them either about having waited for us, even though they said they had tried to contact us. Our flight was not late and the staff denied this saying they were there to collect us, but they were not. We had to get a taxi from the airport to the hotel. Bed - The bed was rock hard. We both woke up with sore hips each day. Construction on the property - They are currently adding to the hotel which happened to be right under our room, with construction noise going all day, every day. No advanced notification that this was going to happen was given. Construction on the room next door - There was work on the room next door with construction noises going all day until around 9pm. No advanced notification that this was going to happen was given. Breakfast - Though plentiful, if you get there after 9am, it is a zoo. If you want to avoid people reaching around you, over you or under you while trying to get a feed, I'd suggest going earlier. And this wasn't in school holidays, so I'd hate to see it when it is. And charging close to $5AUD to get a coffee is not great, especially when the coffee machine that is free churns out awful coffee. And that is it. Overall, a good stay with a few faults, but overall, a good stay.

A totally enjoyable short getaway, room was spacious and all facilities are well maintenance. Welcome amenities and mirror art was fantastic and thoughtful - staff was courteous too. Hotel location central to every destination in Legian Kuta.

I had a wonderful holiday in Bali, the room I was staying in at the Mercure Legian was very clean and maintained well.. Bathroom was also clean and nice clean towels everyday … I had breakfast at the hotel and there was plenty of variety of food to choose from and fresh… My friend had a fall at entering the hotel grounds she didn’t see the step… the next day a staff member asked us if we were happy with the hotel, so I mentioned the fall and suggested painting the step with a light paint to reflect the step so people could see it there in the dark… The next day there was tradesman painting the step..,.. We were very happy with the response so quick.... Thank you Mercure Hotel staff see you next year…
