Clean hotel and excellent breakfast. However...

The hotel is very clean inside and nicely decorated. The breakfast provides an excellent choice in a comfortable breakfast area. However... The room remained uncomfortably cool all night, despite the heating control being set to max. The furnishing of the room is Spartan (tiled floor with no carpet, one plastic chair for the two-person room - see photo). "Bar and delicious snacks" = vending machines (unless I missed something). In the rain at night, restaurants are not within reasonable walking distance. Driving through Flers town centre busy traffic at night in the rain is best avoided, so eating before arriving at the hotel would be a good plan. According to Google Maps (backed by my own observation) the hotel is about 800 m from the SNCF train station by foot, not 250 m as stated on the Accor website. Allow for this if you have a train to catch. (It is probably less than 250 m if you are willing jump over the fence and then walk across the railway tracks.)

Good hotel and location

Located in a small Industrial area, relatively close to the Centre of the Town, with plenty of parking and some lawn outside the building. The hotel bar was good and the staff very accommodating to our cycling group, who had all turned up somewhat damp after a very wet day. Would recommend this location.

Coach trip

This was the hotel selected for a coach tour. New when I saw that a continental breakfast would be supplied, however, no other meals were available. With the hotel being 20 walk from the main town area, it was not suitable for everyone to get food. Local deliveries when busy. The bar even ran out of beer. Room is basic but quiet. Would have been nice to have a kettle at least in the room.

The hotel was modern clean and comfortable with a large car park. Breakfast was plentiful. Located in a quiet spot next to the railway line, so not much to do on a Sunday evening. My only criticism is every draught beer I purchased was not up to the 50cl line

We stayed one night at the Ibis Style in Flers on our way to Brittany and we loved it. The hotel is clean, modern and comfortable. The 2 connecting rooms were perfect for our family of 4 as we have teenage children. Excellent breakfast buffet and friendly staff. I recommended this hotel 100%!
